Dubai Marina Walk

Dubai Marina is located specifically in front of Jumeirah Lakes Towers, on the opposite side of Sheikh Zayed Road, the main street in the UAE that stretches along with the whole city and finishes in Abu Dhabi. Dubai Marina was built along an artificial canal and is almost 3 km long. Similarly to JLT, the construction of the area started in 2003 and was finished in 2007, although there are still some incomplete buildings. It’s full of hotels, boutiques, nightclubs, bars, restaurants, and coffee shops. Most of the area buildings are 250 to 300 meters high, some go even up to 400 meters high.

Around the lake or canal, stretches Marina Walk, an almost 7 km path, along which there are many restaurants and coffee shops. It’s a great place for a walk and dinner. In one of the sides of Marina you can see many boats, mainly exclusive yachts. It’s one of the most popular places in Dubai, by the side of other sightseeing and landmarks you would not like to miss, such as:

It’s also a good place to go sun-bathing, however, the main beach is usually quite crowded. Unfortunately, the view on the open sea is blocked by new construction, which is an artificial island with a huge wheel Dubai Eye is being built right in front of the main area, but it compensates this block by an amazing view to the Dubai Eye Wheel. A lot of things you can do in Dubai Marina Walk, so its time to know what are those fascinating things?
