Even being one of the most popular tours, we offer a different experience: we accompany our guests in small groups along many unexplored paths, reaching hidden corners of the forest.
We take National Route 3 from Ushuaia and stop at a panoramic point of the Beagle Channel. Then we arrive at the Tierra del Fuego National Park and start our trekking to the Lapataia Viewpoint. In our tours, we travel some trails of this exceptional forest. (6 hours each approximate duration of the excursion). After half a day of trekking, we have a good idea of the peculiarities of this unique ecosystem.

The park is furrowed by mountainous cords that divide it into valleys of very difficult access. Unlike other Patagonian Andean parks, it has forests near the sea coast, six kilometers long on the Beagle Channel. This forms the Lapataia bay, which in the Yámana language means “wooded bay” or “good wood bay”.

On the way back we will disembark on Bridges Island to explore a path of interpretation of flora and birds, telling them the history of the Yaman natives. On this island are the largest anthropogenic yámanas concerns in the region.

Being the largest island we touch the highest panoramic point from where we observe the magnificence of the Beagle Channel with the City of Ushuaia in the distance. Breakfast. Our visit to Machu Picchu begins with an hour and a half train journey through spectacular Andean landscapes to Aguas Calientes, starting from Ollanta station. It is believed that the archeological site was built around 1450 by the Inca Pachacútec as his holiday residence. However, a century later, the city was abandoned after the Spanish conquest, saving itself from the destruction that reached other Inca settlements. Instead, the jungle slowly swallowed its stone constructions and hid it, protecting it. During the guided tour, learn about the origins of this impressive citadel, presenting its most prominent monuments such as the main square, the royal quarters, the three-window temple, the circular towers, the sacred clock and the cemeteries. At the end of the tour, return to Aguas Calientes for lunch. You will enjoy a delicious lunch at Café Inkaterra. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon free.

The bridge is woven with millenary techniques and every year various communities in the area meet to renew it and thus maintain this wonderful tradition. In the afternoon, board the train back to Ollanta station and, from there, mobility will take you to your hotel in Cusco. The time range to enter Machu Picchu is 06:45 am to 13:30 pm. Is Latin America safe to visit?

Latin America is a very large continent, and there are many areas that are safe to visit. In most parts, tourists need only to exercise the caution that they would have in any vacation spot—pay attention to surroundings, wear a money belt, and avoid dark and deserted areas—to avoid becoming crime victims. The scenarios that involve tourists usually involve non-violent pick-pocketing or muggings. In South America, we recommend not to make it obvious that you’re a tourist. Try to not speak a foreign language out loud. In addition, you should keep valuable items such as your passport, camera, and your wallet in a pocket or bag in front of you. While sitting outside at a restaurant keep your things on your lap or tied to the foot of the chair.

Which languages are spoken in Latin America?

Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Uruguay, Colombia and Mexico: Spanish speakers.
Brazil: Portuguese
You will find most of the workers in tourism speak English and at least a third language.

Is it a common practice to give tips in Latin America?

Tipping is essentially a norm in bars, coffee shops, and restaurants. It’s recommended to tip chauffeurs and guides during transfers and paid excursions. In these cases, we suggest calculating the amount according to how satisfied you have been with the service.

What is the official currency in Latin America?

The currency changes depending on the country:
Argentina: Argentinean Peso (ARS)
Brazil: Brazilian Real (BRL)
Chile: Chilean Peso (CLP)
Uruguay: Uruguayan Peso (UYU)
Bolivia: Boliviano (BOB)
Peru: Sol Peruano (PEN)
Colombia: Colombian Peso (COP)
Guatemala: Quetzal (GTQ)
México: Mexican peso (MXN)

Each currency is only useful for its respective country. It is not possible to use the currency of one country in another.

Do I need a visa to enter Latin American Countries?

It depends on your country of origin and the country you want to visit. It is necessary to check with your migration department.
