Day 1: City Of Origin - Bogota (Colombia)

Arrival to the city of Bogota, a site where all the regional cultures of the country come together. The Colombian capital invites all those who visit it to a unique experience combining peaceful panoramic views of the mountain with the noise and modern movement of today. Transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free to spend at leisure.

Day 2: Bogota - Santa Marta

Regular guided city tour

In the morning we will find ourselves in the place chosen to explore the different areas of the city of Bogotá. We will go to the Nemesio Camacho El Campín Stadium, the largest football stadium in the Colombian capital. We will continue north to discover the Botanical Garden of Bogotá and its surroundings. The wide vegetation and the large size of its green areas have made it one of the lungs of the city, a place where a large number of locals go every day. During the tour, we will know the places of the itinerary thanks to the explanations of the driver. He is an expert in Bogotá! In addition, we will make a stop to discover the history of the most typical Colombian product: coffee.

Then we will head towards the center of the city and we will enter the emblematic neighborhood of La Candelaria. In this area we will admire the most colonial architecture, as well as the Chorro Quevedo square, the Plaza de Bolívar, the Primada Cathedral of Colombia or the Casa de Nariño. We will cross Bogotá to the financial zone and pass through the Zona Rosa, the neighborhood where the highest class in the country lives. In addition, we will discover the streets of Usaquén, one of the most fashionable neighborhoods among foodies. Finally, we will accompany you back to the starting point. There we will conclude the tour at approximately 13:00 HS.

Day 3: Santa Marta – Tayrona – Santa Marta

Regular tour to Parque Tayrona

We will pick you up at the hotel first thing in the morning and head towards the northeast. After an hour and a half of road trip we will arrive at Tayrona Park, located between the Caribbean Sea and the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. Once there, we will enter the paths that cross the rainforest. For two hours, we will walk next to trees over 25 meters high and discover some of the species that are part of the rich ecosystem of Tayrona National Natural Park. In addition, we can greet iguanas, howler monkeys, ocelots, anteaters or solitary eagles.

We will reach the Caribbean coast and stroll along the beaches of Canaveral, Arrecifes, Arenilla and the Pool. The most idyllic enclaves! Then, we will continue to Cabo San Juan del Guía. Did you know that it is one of the most popular corners of Tayrona? There you will have free time to try the local cuisine in one of the restaurants (not included). Then, we will go to the Cabo San Juan viewpoint to enjoy a unique panoramic view of the Colombian landscape.

Finally, we will resume the way back to Santa Marta. There we will accompany you to the accommodation to finish the excursion.

Day 4: Santa Marta - Cartagena De Indias

After picking them up at the hotel, we will begin our tour touring the coastal areas of Cartagena de Indias. We can admire the breathtaking views of the bay and the beaches of volcanic sand. We will tour the island of Manga and the Bocagrande district, where the most exclusive neighborhoods of the city are located.

Since its foundation, Cartagena has been a port of great strategic importance, and the Spanish built numerous military buildings to protect the city from pirates and enemy powers. We will visit the castle of San Felipe, the most relevant of these fortifications. Nearby, we will admire the statue of Blas de Lezo, a Spanish admiral who led the defense of the city against the English.

The tour will continue with a tour of the San Pedro Claver Museum, dedicated to the memory of slaves and the first abolitionists of Colombia. Next, we will travel by car to the historic center of Cartagena and cross the imposing clock tower on foot. It is the only door that remains of the old walled enclosure of the city.

Our walk will take us through the squares and cobblestone streets of Cartagena while we discover the history of one of the oldest cities in America. We will walk next to the beautiful colonial houses of the center and visit Las Bóvedas. They will have about half an hour of free time to tour the stores of this former military warehouse under whose arcades are numerous craft and antique stores.

At the end of the tour through Cartagena, we will take you back to the hotel.

Day 5: Cartagena De Indias

Free day to enjoy the beaches and the city.

Optional: Rosario Islands in regular

Between 6:00 and 7:00, we will pick you up at the hotel or the selected meeting point in Cartagena. From there, we will approach the port to board a speedboat with which we will cross the waters of the Caribbean Sea.

We will start the day doing a panoramic tour of the Rosario Islands and Baru so you can admire the beauty of this archipelago. Next, we will anchor the boat next to Isla Grande to snorkel and discover the seabed of this area.

We will continue with the tour until we reach Cholón, where we will offer you a delicious prawn cocktail to whet your appetite. Then, we will sail to Agua Azul, where we will get off the boat to enjoy 40 minutes of relaxation on its paradisiacal beaches before continuing with the excursion.

We will arrive at Playa Blanca, in Baru, one of the most famous places in this area of ​​Colombia. Here, we will serve you a great lunch in which you can choose between chicken, fish or a vegetarian menu.

After lunch, you can enjoy four hours of free time to relax on the beach, take a bath or just take a walk. You will have access to all the amenities of Playa Blanca, hammocks, bathrooms, lockers ... you will not have to worry about anything.

After the free time, we will go back to the speedboat and head towards Puerto Nairo, where they will explain everything we need to know about the light plankton. After the talk, we will jump into the water to see for ourselves the beauty of these microscopic organisms. You will swim at night in the waters of the Caribbean Sea while thousands of small blue dots light up your path.

After the bath, we will return to the mainland, where a minibus will be waiting for us that will take us back to the pick-up point in Cartagena at 9:00 p.m.

Day 6: Cartagena De Indias - Lima (Peru)

Transfer to the airport to take the international flight to Lima, Peru. Lima was the capital of the Viceroyalty of Peru and the largest and most important city in South America during the Spanish regime. Affter independence, it became the capital of the Republic. It is considered as the commercial, financial, cultural and political center of the country. Transfer to accommodation. Free day to enjoy the city.

Day 7: Lima - Guided City Tour

After breakfast, we will go to the Brazilian side of the falls, from where there is a wide panorama of these magnificent waterfalls, and there are some excellent opportunities to photograph the full sweep of the waterfalls. Before leaving the Brazilian side, you can stop at the excellent and peculiar bird park just outside the entrance to the Iguazú National Park (optional). The enclosure houses a wide variety of birds and wildlife, including toucans, trogons and coatis, from the same family as the raccoon.

City tour to learn about the different scenarios of this carioca city, one of the most important economic, cultural and financial centers in all of Brazil. We will enter the Metropolitan Cathedral of São Sebastião, one of the symbols of the metropolis. This temple stands out for its pyramidal structure, reminiscent of the religious buildings of pre-Columbian America. After this, we will go to the center of Rio to get into the local culture, for which we will climb the Selaron stairs and cross the Lapa arches on board our vehicle.

Day 21: Rio De Janeiro - Tour To Pao De Azúcar And Corcovado

After breakfast, we will pick you up at your accommodation to start your activity. The first stop will be at the top of Mount Corcovado, where we will find the famous statue of Christ the Redeemer, considered one of the seven wonders of the modern world. From the viewpoint, we will have a spectacular panoramic view of the city of Rio de Janeiro. From there, we will depart towards the base of the Morro de Pan de Azúcar, where two cable cars connect to the summit, 395 m above Rio. Rest of the day free to spend at leisure.
