Welcome to Egypt! When you land at Cairo International Airport, our representative will be waiting to meet you and help you through the arrival formalities before taking you to your hotel. You'll travel in a private air-conditioned vehicle, and once you've checked in, the rest of the day is yours to relax and settle in after your flight.

After breakfast, you'll meet your private Egyptologist guide and head to the Giza Plateau to see the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus, along with the iconic Sphinx and the nearby Valley Temple. From there, you'll visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, home to a remarkable collection of ancient treasures spanning Egypt's long history. After a full morning of sightseeing, you'll return to your hotel.

Important Notes: Expect warm weather and walking on uneven, sandy ground at Giza, plus a fair amount of walking in the museum. Comfortable shoes, a hat and sunscreen are recommended
After breakfast, you'll drive to Alexandria, the pearl of the Mediterranean. You'll explore the atmospheric Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, cut deep underground, and see Pompey's Pillar standing tall among ancient ruins. You'll also visit the striking modern Bibliotheca Alexandrina — a tribute to the city's legendary ancient library — and the seafront Citadel of Qaitbay, built on the site of the famous Lighthouse of Alexandria. Afterwards, you'll check into your Alexandria hotel.

After breakfast, you'll drive back towards Cairo, stopping along the way at Wadi El Natrun — one of Egypt's most important Christian pilgrimage sites, home to several ancient desert monasteries. You'll have time to visit the peaceful monasteries before continuing on to Cairo and checking into your hotel for the evening.

After breakfast, you'll drive back towards Cairo, stopping along the way at Wadi El Natrun — one of Egypt's most important Christian pilgrimage sites, home to several ancient desert monasteries. You'll have time to visit the peaceful monasteries before continuing on to Cairo and checking into your hotel for the evening.

After breakfast, you'll transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan. On arrival, you'll visit the beautiful Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis and set on its own island, reached by a short motorboat ride. From there, you'll board your Nile cruise and settle in, with lunch and dinner served on board as you relax and take in the river.

After breakfast on board, you'll have the chance to join an optional early excursion to Abu Simbel, home to the colossal temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari. Back on board, you'll sail to Kom Ombo to visit its unusual twin temple, shared between Horus the Elder and Sobek the crocodile god. Afterwards, you'll continue sailing gently towards Edfu.

Afterwards, you'll transfer to your Luxor hotel to relax.
