Welcome to Brazil! Our representative will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel. Overnight in Foz do Iguaçú.
A day of two countries and 275 waterfalls. On the Brazilian side—UNESCO-listed and part of one of South America's largest protected areas—a panoramic bus carries you into the park, where 1,200 metres of catwalks deliver breathtaking views of the falls and the four great rapids: Floriano, Deodoro, Benjamín Constant, and Salto Unión, better known as the Devil's Throat. A panoramic elevator returns you to the bus. Then cross to the Argentinian side, where the Ecological Jungle Train takes you to the Devil's Throat stop and a step-free, 1,100-metre walkway winds between islands to the balconies perched right at the edge of the falls. Overnight in Foz do Iguaçú.

Then on to Sugarloaf Mountain, where two cable cars carry you up to a 360-degree view of the whole marvellous city. A proper Brazilian barbecue lunch rounds off the day. Overnight in Rio de Janeiro.

Pause before the Rio Negro Palace, once the seat of government and a fine example of belle époque architecture, with the stilt houses of the neighbouring swamp nearby. Continue to the Salesian Congregation museum for a window into the traditions of the upper Rio Negro's indigenous peoples, then to the Adolpho Lisboa Municipal Market, with its view over the Floating Port. Overnight in Manaus.
