Colors of Brazil: Iguassu, Rio & Salvador
Three destinations, three distinct souls, one seamless journey. Contrasts of Brazil begin at the spectacular Iguassu Falls, experienced from both the Brazilian and Argentinian sides and from the water itself on the Macuco Safari. It continues to Rio de Janeiro, the Marvelous City, with its cable cars to Sugarloaf, the train to Christ the Redeemer, and the living spirit of Carnival at Cidade do Samba. And it closes in Salvador, Brazil's first capital and the birthplace of its Afro-Brazilian culture, where the UNESCO-listed Pelourinho, São Francisco Church, and Mercado Modelo await. Private transfers, handpicked hotels, local guides, and daily breakfast are included throughout.

Welcome to Foz! Your guide will meet you at the airport for a private transfer to the hotel. After check-in, head to the Brazilian side of the falls: a canyon trail with panoramic views of more than 240 waterfalls and a glass elevator to the viewing platform. Then the Macuco Safari — an open jeep-wagon ride through three kilometres of jungle with multilingual guides, an optional 600-metre walk to the 20-metre Macuco Falls, and an inflatable boat upriver into the spray of the Devil's Throat. Bring a change of clothes! Ends at the artisans' fair.

Today, the Argentinian side. Cross the Tancredo Neves Bridge above the Iguassu Canyon into the national park, where a small train carries you to the upper and lower circuits. Follow the walkways through the forest alive with orchids and birdlife, finishing at the suspended platform right at the brink of the Devil's Throat — the greatest waterfall of them all.
