Itinerary

Your Namibia fly-in safari begins in Windhoek, the country's vibrant capital. Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed by our team, who will provide your travel documents and walk you through your route and itinerary for the exciting days ahead. You'll then meet your pilot and check in for your private charter flight to NamibRand Nature Reserve, a scenic journey of approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.

The flight offers a spectacular introduction to Namibia's breathtaking landscapes. Soar above the world's oldest arid desert and admire its endless horizons, towering sand dunes, and dramatic mountain scenery from the air. Shades of ochre, gold, sienna, and deep red stretch across the landscape, creating a striking contrast with the distant Atlantic coastline and setting the tone for the adventures to come.

On arrival, you'll be transferred to your lodge, beautifully positioned on a dune plateau. While designed with the charm and atmosphere of a traditional tented camp, it offers the comfort and convenience of a permanent luxury lodge. After settling in, you'll either enjoy an afternoon nature drive across the surrounding dunes, lasting 2–3 hours depending on your arrival time, or head out later for a memorable sundowner drive.

Day 2 is dedicated to a full-day exploration of NamibRand Nature Reserve, including a picnic lunch in the heart of this remote wilderness. Spend 6–8 hours discovering vast stretches of untouched desert, where resilient wildlife and unique plant life have adapted to thrive in one of the world's most remarkable environments.

As the day draws to a close, experience one of NamibRand's greatest highlights. Recognised as Africa's first International Dark Sky Reserve, it offers some of the finest stargazing on Earth. Relax beneath crystal-clear skies and marvel at an unforgettable display of stars before ending another extraordinary day.

All scheduled camp activities are included.

Today, your journey takes you deeper into the Namib Desert, leaving one spectacular reserve behind to discover another of Namibia's most breathtaking destinations, Sossusvlei. A short 20-minute private charter flight brings you to this iconic desert region, followed by a transfer to Sossusvlei Desert Lodge.

On the way: Although the flight is brief, the views are unforgettable. Sit back and admire the endless red dunes and sweeping desert landscapes from above as you fly across one of the world's oldest deserts. The scenery is nothing short of spectacular.

When you're there: Enjoy a guided nature drive, a guided nature walk, an exciting quad bike excursion, and stargazing at a state-of-the-art observatory accompanied by a resident astronomer. You'll also have access to hiking trails, ancient San rock paintings, and the fascinating Petrified Dunes.

A guided excursion to Sossusvlei is included, along with visits to Sesriem Canyon and the iconic Dead Vlei, renowned for its striking white clay pan and 900-year-old fossilised Acacia trees. You'll also have the opportunity to explore or climb some of the region's most famous dunes, including Dune 45, Big Daddy, and Elim Dune. These remarkable landmarks are best experienced early in the morning or late in the afternoon, when cooler temperatures and changing sunlight bring the desert's vibrant colours to life.

Your stay includes all meals and a wide range of unforgettable experiences.

Our tip: Extend your stay by an extra night to enjoy an included hot air balloon safari or a helicopter flight over Sossusvlei—an unforgettable way to experience this extraordinary landscape from above.

Your Namibia fly in safari continues with a dramatic change of scenery as you leave the desert behind and head for the legendary Skeleton Coast. After a transfer to the airstrip, board your private scenic charter flight to Swakopmund.

On the way: The flight takes approximately 1.5 hours, offering breathtaking views of Sandwich Harbour, where towering sand dunes meet the crashing Atlantic Ocean in one of Namibia's most spectacular natural landscapes. Continue flying along the coastline, passing abandoned diamond mines before landing in Swakopmund for a 30-minute refuelling stop. From there, your journey continues north along the Skeleton Coast, where you'll witness haunting shipwrecks, rusting hulls, and weathered remains scattered along the shoreline, powerful reminders of the ocean's unforgiving nature. Upon arrival at Mowe Bay, you'll be transferred to the iconic Shipwreck Lodge.

When you're there: Discover the untamed beauty of Skeleton Coast National Park through a variety of included activities. Join guided game drives, enjoy beach walks and scenic sundowner experiences, or add adventure with quad biking and sandboarding across the dunes. Explore the remarkable Clay Castles, the Hoanib River Delta, and the Mowe Bay seal colony on a 4x4 excursion, and visit the famous Suiderkus and Karimona shipwrecks. You'll also have the opportunity to travel along the Hoarusib River in search of wildlife, including the region's famous desert-adapted elephants, which have evolved to survive in this harsh environment. If weather conditions allow, round off your day with a memorable beach lunch overlooking the Atlantic.

Your stay includes all meals, scheduled daily excursions, national park fees, and local branded beverages.

Your journey continues to the remote Hartmann Valley in Kaokoland. You'll be transferred back to the airstrip for your approximately 50-minute charter flight, followed by a scenic drive to your lodge, Serra Cafema.

On the way: This is one of Namibia's most isolated destinations, accessible only by air, making it a truly exclusive experience. It's also a land of remarkable contrasts. Flowing in front of the lodge is the Kunene River, a life-giving waterway where Nile crocodiles can often be seen and a variety of water birds thrive, including the Burchell's courser and the Benguela long-billed lark. The river's presence supports lush vegetation, creating a striking contrast with the surrounding lunar-like landscapes of the Namib Desert, where sweeping dunes, vast plains, and rugged mountains dominate the horizon.

While you're there: Explore the valley on nature drives, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kunene River, take guided walks to nearby valleys and waterfalls, experience the thrill of quad biking, and visit an authentic Himba village to learn about one of Namibia's most fascinating semi-nomadic cultures. If you choose a full-day excursion, a picnic lunch is also included.

Your stay includes all meals and local branded beverages, along with a variety of guided experiences.

Your Namibia fly in safari concludes with an unforgettable wildlife experience in Etosha National Park, Namibia's premier safari destination. Over the next two days, you'll enjoy exceptional game viewing in one of Africa's finest national parks. Etosha is home to four of the Big Five (excluding buffalo), as well as zebra, the rare black-faced impala, oryx, cheetah, giraffe, eland, and hyena. During the rainy season, up to one million flamingos gather here to breed, while bird enthusiasts can also spot falcons, harriers, the Egyptian vulture, and many other species.

On the way: You'll be transferred to the airstrip for your onward journey, taking a private charter flight from Hartmann Valley to Ondangwa for a refuelling stop before continuing to the private Ongava Reserve, located on the edge of Etosha National Park.

Recognised as one of Africa's greatest game parks, Etosha boasts an incredible diversity of wildlife, with more than 114 mammal species and 340 bird species waiting to be discovered.

When you're there: Enjoy exciting game drives into Etosha National Park, guided bush walks, and exclusive safaris within the private Ongava Reserve, where hides and waterholes provide outstanding wildlife viewing opportunities. You'll also have the chance to track one of Africa's most iconic species, the magnificent rhino.

Your stay includes all meals, local branded beverages, and expertly guided safari experiences.

Your unforgettable Namibia adventure comes to an end today, but not before one final morning activity to round off your safari experience. Afterwards, you'll be transferred to the airstrip for your private charter flight from Etosha to Windhoek International Airport, with a flight time of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. To ensure a smooth departure, we recommend arriving at the airport at least 2 hours before your scheduled international flight.
