Day 1: New Delhi Tour

Namaste and Welcome to India!

You’ve just arrived in a land of 1.2 billion people, home to every major religion in the world and a dizzying variety of histories and languages, and one of the most beautiful countries in the world.

Arrive at New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International airport, the guests will be met by a Hi Tours representative at the gate and escorted to your hotel.

On arrival at hotel, girls dressed in traditional Saree will perform the “Thali Ceremony” Aarti, tikka and flowers. While welcome drinks are being served and room keys are handed over. Check in to your accommodations

Day at leisure to overcome journey tiredness

Day 2: Agra

The day commences with a drive through Lutyen’s Delhi. Stop for interesting photo opportunities at India Gate and the muted red sandstone Parliament Buildings. Continue to Gandhi Smriti, an interesting photo exhibit on the life of the Great Mahatma Gandhi. Next visit the restored Humayun’s Tomb - (UNESCO World heritage site).

Later drive to Agra via the Yamuna Expressway. On arrival in Agra you check-into to your accommodations.

Day 3: Welcome Jaipur

Morning proceed to Taj on decorated horse driven carriages, Taj Mahal is one of mankind's greatest architectural feats. Built out of white marble by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal, it was erected by 20,000 laborers over a 12-year period. The entire monument is a masterpiece of symmetry (Closed on Friday).

After breakfast you will visit the Agra Fort which dates back to the 11th Century and captured by several rulers before it was rebuilt by the Great Mughal King Akbar in the 16th Century.

Arrive Jaipur, check in at your hotel The Rambagh Palace - Walk from room to room amongst rich textures, opulent furnishings and exquisite objects d’art. Step out into expansive, ornamental gardens arranged in brilliant symmetry. Retire to rooms that were once the sanctuaries of kings, princes and their guests. Rambagh Palace exudes an unmistakable sense of history. It’s an architectural masterpiece that transcends time.

Day 4: Proceeding Jaipur Tour

Morning drive to Amber and its glorious hilltop fortress. You will ascend the fort by Jeep. It is known for its unique artistic style, blending both Hindu and Muslim (Mughal) elements, and its ornate and breathtaking architectural mastery. Tour the chambers and hallways of the palace, famous for the excellence of its design and decoration. Within the complex is Ganesh Pol, an imposing gateway painted with the images of the elephant-headed god, Ganesh. Pierced screen windows offer views from different vantage points, and shimmering mirrors encrust the walls of Sheesh Mahal.

Optional tour: Afterward proceed to Dera Amer camp - situated behind the hills of the famous Amer Fort is the ideal location for outdoor recreational and adventure activities in very close proximity to the city of Jaipur. Enjoy a barbeque lunch alfresco!

Later proceed to Pink city of Jaipur. Stop for a photo at the Hawa Mahal or the Palace of the Winds." This beautiful façade is probably the most-photographed in Jaipur, with its ornately carved windows designed so the ladies of the palace could look out onto the streets unobserved. Visit the City Palace Museum, which has a priceless collection of antiques, costumes and armory of the Mughals and Rajputs including swords of different shapes and sizes with chiseled handles. It also has an art gallery which displays a collection of miniature paintings, carpets, royal paraphernalia and rare astronomical works in Arabic, Persian, Latin and Sanskrit.

Thereafter visit Jantar Mantar Observatory, a stone astrological and astronomical Observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh in the 18th century

Day 5: Head to Udaipur

Early morning trasnfer to the airport to connect flgiht for Udaipur.

Beside shimmering Lake Pichola, with the ochre and purple ridges of the wooded Aravalli Hills stretching away in every direction, Udaipur has a romance of setting unmatched in Rajasthan and arguably in all India.

Upon arrival meet with our representative and transfer to the lake retreat built up on Raj Niwas Island – The Lake Palace, Udaipur; stay at James bond Octopussy's island hideaway, Taj Lake Palace. The hotel is lavishly decorated with ornate, carved windows and domed turrets.

Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 6: Proceeding Udaipur

This morning proceed for city sightseeing visiting; the vast and exquisite City Palace, a well-fortified, majestic white monument. Next visit the Jagdish Temple, a 16th-century temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, it is the largest and most splendid temple in Udaipur. Drive past Fateh Sagar Lake and visit Sahelion-ki-Bari, the Garden of the Maids-of-Honor, which has numerous fountains in four pools, embellished with delicately chiseled kiosks and elephants.

In the Evening, take a boat (shared) cruise on Lake Pichola to visit Jag Mandir Palace, which covers almost four acres and is noted for its marble pavilion and an imposing dome. You’ll see people doing their laundry on the shores of the lake against the backdrop of the massive City Palace and the old city.

Day 7: Jodhpur Tour

This morning drive towards Jodhpur - Mighty Mehrangarh, the muscular fort that towers over the Blue City of Jodhpur, is a magnificent spectacle and an architectural masterpiece. Around Mehrangarh’ s feet, the old city, a jumble of Brahmin-blue cubes, stretches out to the 10km-long, 16th-century city wall. The ‘Blue City’ really is blue!

Enroute stop at world famous Ranakpur Temples, an architectural marvel built in white marble.

Continue drive towards Jodhpur, upon arrival check in at your luxury retreat the Umaid Bhawan Palace - Designed by renowned Edwardian architect Henry Lanchester, the palace is a blend of eastern and western architectural influences. Its majestic 105 - foot high cupola is influenced by the Renaissance, while the towers draw inspiration from Rajput tradition.

Day 8: Head to Mumbai

This morning, enjoy an orientation tour of Jodhpur city.

Visit the magnificent Mehrangarh fort which dominates the town ringed with its massive protective walls. There are seven gates that lead into the fort. Inside the fort is a series of courtyards and palaces. The palace apartments with marvelously carved panels, latticed windows have evocative names such as Sukh Mahal (Pleasure Palace), Moti Mahal (Pearl Palace), the Phool Mahal (Flower Palace) and the Sheesh Mahal (Palace of Mirrors).

Continue your tour to Jaswant Thada, located a short distance from the fort, just off the fort road, is a white marble memorial to Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. The cenotaph built in 1899, was followed by the royal crematorium and three other cenotaphs that stand nearby.

Later transfer to the airport to connect flight for Mumbai.

Upon arrival, you will be met by our representative and transferred to regal retreat The Taj Mahal Palace and assist with check in.

Mumbai (previously known as Bombay) is the biggest metropolis of India. A city that is full of life and is also known for its well-known tourist places, commercial hubs and government bodies. It is also known as the financial capital of India.

Day 9: Continuing Mumbai

After breakfast, go on a tour of the city to explore its architectural heritage, starting with a visit to the Jain Temple at Malabar Hill. Continue to Mani Bhawan, the home of Mahatma Gandhi during his stay in Mumbai, now a small museum exhibiting his life works. You will drive up to Dhobhighat, the Mega Laundry site, where the entire city’s laundry comes for a wash. Arrive in time at Churchgate to see the Dabbawalas sorting lunch boxes for distribution. The tour will culminate at Prince of Wales museum, one of the finest in Asia. After lunch, the remainder of the day will be at your leisure.

Day 10: Hyderabad Arrival

Early morning fly to Hyderabad, the city of Nizam’s.

Upon arrival check in at one of the most regal retreats of India – Taj Falaknuma Palace

Later this Morning pay a visit to famous Salarjung Museum - An art museum situated in the beautiful city of Hyderabad, Salar Jung Museum contains a collection of paintings, textiles, metallic artifacts, clocks and carvings from various countries like China, North America, Egypt, Nepal, Europe, Burma and India.

Post lunch proceed for a guided orientation tour of the city visiting; Char Minar, Qutub Shahi tombs and Chowmahalla palace, the ruling seat of the NIzam of Hyderabad state

Late Afternoon get ready for a Jewelry Tour of Hyderabad

Exquisite pearls, magnificent uncut diamonds, emeralds, shiny lac bangles...this city has it all! Visit the narrow lanes of the Choodi Bazaar and meet the craftsmen who have spent their lifetime mastering these crafts. Hear the several stories about the Nizam's famed jewelry collection. Try on some exquisite, antique pieces and feel like royalty. If the sparkle of diamonds and the glint of gold is your thing, then this tour is a must for you.

Day 11: Proceeding Hyderabad

The city Hyderabad is a foodie delight, its delectable cuisine is an important part of its culture and hospitality. Hence this morning take a food walk of the Old City, followed by 'The Biryani Tour'.

Food for the kings- Biryani has been an integral part of Indian cuisine from the palaces of the sultans to the small back alleys in the most remote villages. This tour explores the many regional and subtle foreign influences that make this dish so special. We will weave our way through Hyderabad's many biryani hubs and see the huge handis of fragrant rice and secret combinations of meat and spices that beguile the senses. End the day with a traditional meal of Biryani served in antique, royal crockery or in a simple Hyderabadi home.

In the afternoon take a Palace Tour accompanied by a curator and culminate the tour with a High Tea at the majestic Taj Falaknuma Palace.

Days 12 - 14: Mararikulam

Morning fly to Kochi, the gateway to South India.

Payment Policy

We are offering you to pay a low down payment of just 10% to keep your place on the tour including hotel room, cruise cabin, domestic flight ticket, and other travel-related services. The remaining balance can be paid only two days prior to your arrival date or in cash upon arrival at the destination to your tour guide. This will give you the chance to book your tour with no risk or any loss.

Tour Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your booking at any time prior to commencement of the tour by notifying us in writing. The cancellation charges shall be as follows:

  • If you cancel before 45 days of tour commencement date, there will be no cancellation fees, except components which require per booking (train, flight and safaris).
  • If you cancel on or before 44-30 days of tour commencement date, 25% of the entire tour price will be charged.
  • If you cancel on or before 29-15 days of tour commencement date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged.
  • Less than 14 Days before arrival 100% cancellation will be applicable.
Changes By You

If you request any changes to your travel arrangements once we have confirmed a booking, all out of pocket charges, including charges imposed by our suppliers, will be payable by you. If after the commencement of your tour you request any changes to your travel arrangements, we will do our best to implement them, but we cannot guarantee that it will be possible. In the event of such change(s) being made, you will be liable for any cancellation charges that may be levied for the previously booked service and for any costs incurred by us and our suppliers in attempting to secure any revised arrangements. Any name changes must be provided to us in writing and are subject to any airline/ train fees or penalties.

Passports & Visa Fees

All Passengers are responsible for securing proper documentation prior to joining the tour. Passports are required; in addition, travelers are advised to check with local consulates for full details regarding Visa requirements. Please note securing a valid visa for entry is sole responsibility of the traveler.

Flexible cancellation policy

Memphis Tours offers a very flexible cancelation policy in case the government or the airline issues a travel warning from/to your departure country and destination. In the event that this happens, we will be refunding you the amount paid in full.
