Day 1: Kathmandu Arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel for check-in.

You will arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu. Following customs, immigration formalities and baggage collection, our representative will meet you after which you would be transferred to your hotel for check-in (check-in time between 1200-1400 hrs/ early check-in is subject to availability).

The eaves of the pagodas, the smells from the street stalls and the vibrant people all combine to make Kathmandu a truly intoxicating and evocative city. Formerly three separate kingdoms, Patan, Bhaktapur and Kathmandu, these city-states were united during the late 18th century to create modern Nepal but still retain their individual characters.

Stroll through the backstreets and Kathmandu’s timeless cultural and artistic heritage still reveals itself in hidden temples overflowing with marigolds, courtyards full of drying chillies and rice, and tiny hobbit-sized workshops.

Dinner & Overnight at hotel

Day 2: Kathmandu, visit the temple of Living Goddess.

Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed for the Orientation tour of Kathmandu city and start off with Kathmandu Durbar Square with its arrays of temples, courtyards, monuments and the ancient palaces of the former Nepali Royals is located in Basantapur in the heart of Kathmandu city, the country’s capital.

Chief attractions here include Hanuman Dhoka, Royal Palace, the magnificent Taleju Temple towering more than 40 meters; Kumari Ghar - the residence of the Living Goddess, Kumari.

Later enjoy the pedal rickshaw ride followed by the walking tour of the bustling narrow lanes of Thamel. Surrounded by Newari houses, the busy district of Thamel and is a great place to discover Buddhist stupas and Hindu shrines concealed among busy bazaars. Known as the backpacker heart of Kathmandu, it is filled with guesthouses, bars, restaurants and shops that sell everything .

Enjoy traditional Nepali snacks with tea at local shop. Proceed to visit Bouddhanath - one among the largest stupas in South Asia, and it has become the focal point of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. The white mound looms thirty-six meters overhead. The stupa is located on the ancient trade route to Tibet, and Tibetan merchants rested and offered prayers here for many centuries.

When refugees entered Nepal from Tibet in the 1950s, many of them decided to live around Bouddhanath. They established many gompas, and the "Little Tibet" of Nepal was born.Evening proceed for dinner at authentic Nepali restaurant - Bhojan Girah - Today Dine to experience Nepali cuisine in a 150 year old heritage building which housed the late Royal Priest of the King of Nepal. You will be served with food prepared from local organic sources from their very own farm. Elevate your senses with the folk dance and music of Nepal.

Day 3: proceed for visit to Pashupatinath, briefing about the program facilities.

Breakfast at hotel, then proceed for visit to Pashupatinath, which is the most important Hindu temple stands on the banks of the holy Bagmati River, surrounded by a bustling market of religious stalls selling marigolds, prasad (offerings), incense, rudraksha beads, conch shells, pictures of Hindu deities and temples.

Great care is taken with the last rites of a body here, but as in the case with most funerary rites the world over, these are for the living, not the dead. Pashupatinath is the oldest Hindu temple complex in Nepal built in 300 BCE.

Continue your tour with visit Patan Durbar Square, located 5 km southeast of Kathmandu, the popularly known as ‘the city of artisans’ accommodates a magnificent square housing the palace buildings of the then royals, artistic courtyards and graceful pagoda temples.

In the afternoon enjoy the sustainable pottery making session - Experience the centuries old tradition of pottery making which is an integral part of Nepalese culture. Moreover these pots are used in everyday life, be it storing, transporting water, decorative purposes like lamps etc. While being prepared on a traditional potter's wheel, and adorned with traditional Nepali designs, this is quintessential Nepali sustainable culture at its best.

Dinner & Overnight at hotel

Day 4: Have a morning drive to Pokhara, Check-in at your hotel. 

Breakfast at the hotel, then have a morning drive to Pokhara (200 kms/ 6 hrs approx). Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel. Pokhara valley is the second largest tourist attraction after Kathmandu and regarded as one of the most beautiful place in Nepal.

Rest and relax at hotel. In the evening enjoy a walking tour through the lakeside local market of Pokhara.

Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5: proceed for a hiking excursion with a packed breakfast on Pokhara.

Early in the morning, proceed for a hiking excursion with packed breakfast with our hiking expert on a local bus to ensure the experience of local transport. Reach the viewpoint from where you will have a splendid view of Annapurna massif, Machhpuhhre, Dhulagiri and other mountains ranges.

It offers a beautiful hill top offering striking views over the valleys and stunning views of the Annapurna Mountain range. The place is located on the north-west of Pokhara. After driving about an hour, we start our hike from Kande. The trail is steep; through stone staircase for about 1.5 to 2 hours hours situated on the ridge and having an incredible view of Annapurna South (7219m), Hiunchuli (6440m), Machhapuchhre (6993m) and Lamjung Himal.

Then, return to your hotel for breakfast. Later proceed for the orientation tour of the Pokhra including visit to Bindyabasini Temple. The ancient BindhyaBasini Temple sits atop a small hill in Old Pokhara which is sacred to Durga, the warlike incarnation of Parvati.

Moving on to visit the Davis Falls, Also known as Patale Chhango, this waterfall marks the point where the Pardi Khola stream vanishes underground. Afternoon at leisure time. In the evening enjoy boating in Phewa lake:

Pokhara is well known for the giant Phewa Lake (the second biggest lake of Nepal). It is one of the exciting refreshments in Pokhara. You can experience the beautiful scenery with snow gladded mountain ranges while boating.

Dinner at a lakeside restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Time to drive to Chitwan National Park. 

Breakfast at the hotel. Time to drive to Chitwan (147 kms/ 6.5 hrs approx). Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel. This World Heritage -listed wildlife reserve protects more than 932 sq km of forests, marshland and grassland containing sizable animal populations, making it one of the best national parks for viewing wildlife in Asia.

Witness Tharu Dance performance by the locals (villagers) at the hotel followed by the dinner. Centuries old culture of ostensible survivors in Nepal, Tharu Dance is an eclectic way of expressing the significance of festivals, fields and a united community. The performers belong to the Tharu tribe and have inherited these from their forefathers. The folk lore reveals their story with a pinch of salt that you must enjoy.

Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 7: Chitwan National Park. You will go for jeep safari or elephant safari. 

After breakfast, you will be taken for Canoeing for half an hour in Budi Rapti river. Then you will proceed for an hour Nature walk in the jungle. After that, we will return to the hotel to have lunch. After lunch, you will be given free time to enjoy and then you will go for jeep safari or elephant safari witnessing a variety of animals. In the evening we will take you to attend the Thar cultural Dance which will surely blow your mind away.


Early Morning for Canoeing

There is no alternate experience to canoeing towards a confluence of three rivers for sundowners. Narayani, Rapti and Reu River merge to form Narayani River a few kilometers away from the hotel. As birds start their evening stint, we sail quietly towards the setting sun. What you hear in the silence of the moment as ghariyals eye for prey and pelicans fly in the blue sky is- flapping of the canoe and ripples meeting the waves. This boat ride in a dugout canoe takes you down the Rapti river, it is a good opportunity for bird watching as well as for viewing crocodiles. Afterwards there is a visit to the elephant-breeding center. The journey back is by jeep or foot.Return to hotel for breakfast.

Proceed for Jeep Safari at Chitwan


Our Naturalist would drive you into the core area of Chitwan National Park. Crossing the savannahs and entering the dense Chitwan, you would get fair chances to spot various birds and animals (can count on Rhinos) in their natural habitat. The forest is quiet and active, and we take care of necessary comfort during your hours of safari.Lunch at the hotel, later proceed for a Bird watching / walking Safari

Evening Nature Walks


Early morning and evening nature walks into the Chitwan National Park, when our Naturalists proactively interpret the forests in the process of spotting the elusive Tigers and gigantic Rhinos for you. The peak game hours are selected, basis your comfort for a coveted experience. The giant woods and rambling creepers clinching the branches often drop a secret; our naturalists would help you decipher them in the most succinct way.Evening enjoy the traditional cooking demonstration by the chef to be organised at the hotel with interaction in authentic Nepali cuisine followed by dinner. Jeep Safari is closed from 15 June to September therefore guests visiting during this period would have Elephant Back Safari.
Activities in Chitwan are briefed and assigned upon arrival by the lodge manager, depending upon local condition.
Activities usually include Bird-watching on a walking tour, 1 Canoe Ride, 1 Elephant Safari or Jeep Safari, hence sequences of the visit are subject to change.

Day 8: Welcome to Dhulikhel. You will visit the Panuati village.

Breakfast at the hotel then have a morning you will be driven to Dhulikhel (120 kms/ 3.5 hrs drive approx). Upon arrival, check-in at hotel. In the afternoon proceed for Panuati village (9 km) to witness village lifestyles. Y After exploring the village, a walk of about two and a half hours along ridges and through fields with views of green valleys and snow-capped peaks. Visit the village school and contribute towards the upliftment of education in the Himalayan kingdom. Return back to the hotel.

In the evening enjoy the special dinner at the hotel.

Day 9: Final departure

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning at leisure. In time you will be transferred to the airport to board flight for your onward destination.

Tour price currency is set to USD but you can pay in Euro or British pound. The prices quoted per person per tour and prices are always updated to ensure you receive the best possible price. Prices are valid all the year, except during Christmas 2019 and New Year 2020.

Note: If the tour package includes flights, trains, jungle safari, private monument, an extra supplement will be applicable to the child.

Payment Policy

We are offering you to pay a low down payment of just 10% to keep your place on the tour including hotel room, cruise cabin, domestic flight ticket, and other travel-related services. The remaining balance can be paid only two days prior to your arrival date or in cash upon arrival at the destination to your tour guide. This will give you the chance to book your tour with no risk or any loss.

Tour Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your booking at any time prior to commencement of the tour by notifying us in writing. The cancellation charges shall be as follows:

  • If you cancel before 45 days of tour commencement date, there will be no cancellation fees, except components which require per booking (train, flight and safaris).
  • If you cancel on or before 44-30 days of tour commencement date, 25% of the entire tour price will be charged.
  • If you cancel on or before 29-15 days of tour commencement date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged.
  • Less than 14 Days before arrival 100% cancellation will be applicable.
Changes By You

If you request any changes to your travel arrangements once we have confirmed a booking, all out of pocket charges, including charges imposed by our suppliers, will be payable by you. If after the commencement of your tour you request any changes to your travel arrangements, we will do our best to implement them, but we cannot guarantee that it will be possible. In the event of such change(s) being made, you will be liable for any cancellation charges that may be levied for the previously booked service and for any costs incurred by us and our suppliers in attempting to secure any revised arrangements. Any name changes must be provided to us in writing and are subject to any airline/ train fees or penalties.

Passports & Visa Fees

All Passengers are responsible for securing proper documentation prior to joining the tour. Passports are required; in addition, travelers are advised to check with local consulates for full details regarding Visa requirements. Please note securing a valid visa for entry is sole responsibility of the traveler.

Flexible cancellation policy

Memphis Tours offers a very flexible cancelation policy in case the government or the airline issues a travel warning from/to your departure country and destination. In the event that this happens, we will be refunding you the amount paid in full. Here at Memphis Tours we prioritize your well-being and safety above anything else and aim that our cancellation policy reflect that.
