In the event that the panoramic tour of Madrid is not operated for technical reasons will be replaced by the Madrid Hop-on Hop-off Bus 1 day instead. When the group is made up of 12 or fewer passengers, the circuit will have no guide, but a knowledgeable expert driver. 

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Madrid 

You’ll be picked up at Madrid airport and taken to your hotel. After that, you’ll have the rest of the day to do as you please. Take advantage of this time to discover the lively city of Madrid.

Day 2: Madrid Tour

Start your morning with a hearty breakfast at your hotel and then enjoy a guided city tour that will take you through some of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Madrid, including Barrio de La Morería, Hapsburg District, Plaza Mayor, Plaza de la Villas, and many more. You will be immersed in the history of Madrid during the Bourbon era and marvel at the complex plans made by Charles III. You will be able to see the royal Palace, the beautiful Cibeles, and Neptuno fountains, along with the famous Piazza de la Plata. You will also be able to explore the modern side of Madrid, passing through some of the busiest areas in the city, such as Gran Vía and Castellana. You will also have the chance to visit the commercial and financial centers of modern Madrid. And of course, you will be able to visit the famous Santiago Bernabeu Football Stadium! In the afternoon, you will have some time to explore the city at your speed. Afterward, you will be invited to a local restaurant to enjoy a welcome tapas dinner with your fellow travelers. Finally, you can relax and prepare for your evening in Madrid.

Day 3: Madrid-Caceres-Cordoba 

Begin the day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Travel to Caceres, a World Heritage site known for its amazing mix of Roman, Islamic, Northern Gothic, and Italian Renaissance architectural styles. Immerse yourself in the lovely atmosphere as we stroll around the Plaza Mayor and explore the famous Medieval Quarter in the Old Town. Our voyage continues as we travel to Cordoba, the former capital of the Caliphate. Spending the night in Cordoba allows us to experience the magic of this historic city.

Day 4: Cordoba-Seville 

Begin the day with a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Take an awe-inspiring tour of Cordoba's majestic Mosque, which includes admittance. Explore other interesting places that will brighten your soul as you walk through the Jewish Quarter's quaint and labyrinthine streets. In the afternoon, continue your journey to the charming city of Seville. Enjoy a nice overnight stay in Seville.

Day 5: Seville 

Enjoy a delectable breakfast at the hotel to start your day. Take a fascinating morning tour of the charming Andalusian capital, Seville. Discover the majestic Cathedral, which is the second largest in the world for Catholics, behind Rome's St. Peter's Basilica. Take a stroll around the charming Santa Cruz neighborhood, which is well-known for being connected to the myths of Don Juan and Carmen. Admire the magnificence of Plaza de España while strolling through the lovely Maria Luisa Park. You have the day to unwind and take in the colorful ambiance of this bright city. Enjoy a wonderful evening in Seville while taking in its extensive history and culture.

Day 6: Seville-Ronda-Costa del Sol 

After breakfast at the hotel, we head south, passing through picturesque Andalusian towns until arriving at the intriguing town of Ronda. Spend some time exploring this historic Celtic hamlet and admiring the stunning views of the surrounding valley and mountains. Next, we'll continue on an interesting Olive Oil Experience at the well-known local Almazara, LA Organic. Immerse yourself in the splendor of their olive tree farms and experience the fragrances of their delicious organic olive oil. Finally, we'll go to the breathtaking Spanish Mediterranean coast, where we'll spend the night on the lovely Costa del Sol.

Day 7: Costa Del Sol – Granada

Indulge in a delightful breakfast at the hotel to kick off your day before setting out on a journey to Granada, one of Spain's most cherished destinations. Day 8: Granada - Toledo – Madrid

Begin your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel before setting off on a journey to the captivating Imperial city of Toledo. This extraordinary city acknowledged as a World Heritage City, has been a melting pot of Christian, Moorish, and Jewish cultures for centuries. Get ready to be spellbound as we delve into the historical old town, strolling through its picturesque narrow streets. Our expedition carries on as we head to Madrid, where we will spend the night, looking forward to the adventures awaiting us.

Day 9: Departure from Madrid to Arrival in Casablanca

Following a delightful breakfast at the hotel, we will facilitate your transfer to Madrid airport for your flight to Casablanca. Upon arrival in Casablanca, a driver guide will be awaiting you outside of gate 2 at the airport to accompany you on a scenic drive to Rabat, the primary city of Morocco. Subsequently, you will be escorted to the hotel where you will be accommodated for the night.

Day 10: Rabat - Chefchaouen

Commence your Best Morocco Tour with a delectable breakfast at your hotel, followed by an immersive journey with your tour guide in the capital city of Morocco, Rabat. Initially constructed as a fortress by Abd Al-Mu’min of the Almohad dynasty, Rabat was named Ribatu l-Fath, signifying "stronghold of victory". Our guided exploration of Rabat will encompass delving into its storied history, including visits to the Royal Palace, Chellah, Hassan Tower, and Kasbah Ouddaya. Subsequently, you'll have leisure time to wander through the bustling souks and bazaars of the old medina, where an array of merchandise, traditional and modern leather shoes, Moroccan-style bags, and authentic Berber jewelry awaits. Afterward, a visit to “Café Maure” on the bank of the Bouregrag River offers an optional Moroccan mint tea experience along with traditional Moroccan treats like Kaab Ghazal and Ghariba. As the day draws to a close, bid adieu to Rabat and make your way to Chefchaouen.

Day 11: Chefchaouen - Fez

Following breakfast, embark on a tour of Chefchaouen, renowned as Morocco's "Blue Pearl". The city's distinctive blue-colored houses are believed to have originated from Jewish traditions associating the color blue with the sky, heaven, and God, lending the city a uniquely charming and tranquil ambiance. Your tour will include visits to Kasbah Ali Ben Rachid, Plaza Uta el-Hammam, and a leisurely exploration of the city. The day culminates in Fez, known as the Capital of Science and Knowledge. En route, you will make stops at Volubilis, a UNESCO-listed archaeological site where the remnants of Roman and Berber cultures await exploration, and the Imperial City of Meknes, often referred to as the "Versailles of Morocco" by Moulay Ismail.

Day 12: Fez Exploration Day

Begin the 4th day of your Best Morocco Tour with a delightful breakfast, followed by a guided exploration of Fez, the former capital of the kingdom before 1912. Your itinerary centers on the Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site dating back to the 9th century and home to the world's oldest university. Accompanied by a local guide, you'll visit notable landmarks including Bou-Inania and Attarin Medersa, the tanners, Ess-Seffarine Square, Moulay Idris's tomb, El-Nejjarine Square, the cabinet makers' souk, and the Hebrew district 'Mellah'. The day also includes a pottery workshop led by a master potter for an immersive Moroccan experience. Following a satisfying lunch at a local restaurant, you have the option to return to your hotel or independently navigate the labyrinthine alleys of the old town. With its abundance of treasures, Fez beckons for a day of exploration.

Day 13: Fez - Ifrane - Midelt - Erfoud - Merzouga

Following breakfast, our journey to Erfoud commences, passing through Ifrane and Midelt. Renowned for its ancient fossils, Erfoud is a captivating destination for archaeologists. Upon arrival, an exhilarating adventure awaits as we traverse the desert dunes in 4-wheel vehicles, culminating in the breathtaking sunset en route to the Merzouga camp for the night.


Insight: Erfoud is famed for "Medfouna," a delectable meat-filled Berber calzone. A culinary delight not to be missed!

Day 14: Merzouga - Erfoud - Ouarzazate

For an unforgettable experience, rise early to witness the sunrise atop a camel. Subsequently, journey from Erfoud to Ouarzazate with an English-speaking driver. Along the way, a stop at the Todra Gorge, located about 110 km (65 miles) from Ouarzazate and southwest of Tinerhir, offers a chance to capture breathtaking photographs. Continuing towards Ouarzazate, the journey includes a visit to Skoura, an oasis celebrated for its mesmerizing beauty, which may initially appear as a narrow, elongated oasis from the road but reveals its vastness and grandeur upon exploration.

Day 15: Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech

Following breakfast, rendezvous with your driver guide outside the hotel in the morning. Today offers a unique opportunity to step into the world of filmmaking at the Atlas Studios, renowned for producing blockbuster movies and television shows such as The Mummy, Gladiator, Asterix and Obelicx, and Game of Thrones. Embrace this exciting experience before continuing the journey, savoring the breathtaking scenery of the Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass and visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Centre of Ait Ben Haddou. Upon reaching Marrakech, unwind at your hotel or set out to explore the vibrant city at your leisure.

Day 16: Marrakech Exploration

Embark on your Best Morocco Tour as you seize the opportunity to discover the enchanting city of Marrakech, a destination that captivates the imagination of many. You will also have the opportunity to explore the Corniche, Habous quarters, and the outside of the Royal Palace.
