Itinerary
Memphis Tours representative will pick you up from your hotel, to enjoy a pyramid tour of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, which dates from the time of Chephren; the tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the pyramid of chefren. Then have your lunch at local restaurant and Move to visit the Egyptian Museum, which features artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art which is considered the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 artifacts are presented. Back to your hotel after your Pyramid tour.

“Memphis Tours makes Egypt Safe and Fun !”

Day tour of Cairo was simply amazing. Guide and driver picked us up at our hotel and took care of us all day. Egyptian Museum , Giza, Coptic Cairo , the Bazaar, Tarir square anything we wanted to see. Never were we placed in a situation where we felt uncomfortable. We asked to visit shops to purchase genuine Egyptian products. We made several purchases and were never hassled or pressured. I can truthfully say Memphis Tours provides all of the fun and eliminates the fright when visiting Egypt .

We had a one day stopover in Cairo last week.
We were very fortunate to arrange a one day private tour of Cairo with Memphis.
We were picked up at the airport (inspite of a 2 hour delay - no complaint by our guide) - we got whisked to Giza. Great time visiting the pyramids (pretty much had the place to ourselves), great pics on a camel (don't forget to haggle), quick stop at a papyrus museum and shopping for some Egyptian cotton. A pick up lunch (delicious) and time at the Egyptian Museum (incredible - loved the King Tut exhibit so close). Walked through Tahrir Square - felt totally safe, drove through the Khan el Khaili bazaar and spent the evening at the gorgeous and tranquil Al Azhar park. Great for people (family ) watching, see many monuments from here and lovely lakefront restaurant. Then got dropped off at our hotel late evening.
A special shout out to our travel consultant Abdo Younnis - who was incredibly responsive, very patient and accommodating and forthcoming with suggestions - couldn't ask for more.
Our guide Moustafa in Cairo - besides being very knowledgeable, was very flexible, great company and always ready to take pics. Our driver seemed to find non-existent spaces in the traffic to get us moving in the insane traffic.
The customer care and service provided by Memphis Tours is exemplary and incomparable (I have travelled extensively so have a good basis for comparison). I recommend them with no hesitation and am looking forward to visiting Egypt for a longer visit with Memphis.

Right from the start of our research, Memphis provided professional service. We emailed Fatima our wish list and she suggested package options which we then adapted to suit or personal needs.
1) Half day West Bank tour ~ Sayed our guide was humerous and informative. He let us have as long or as short a time at each venue and was very knowledgable
2) Full day in Cairo, Ruby in Luxor accompanied us to check-in and got us emergency exit seats for our flight to Cairo, he also checked us in for the return flight, saving us time later on. Tarek was awaiting us in arrivals and took us to our driver and guide. We had an amazing day in Cairo, we chose to drop the souk from the suggested itinery and returned to Luxor earlier than planned, we still fitted in the Pyramids, Sphinx, Coptic Churches & Cairo Museum. Traffic in Cairo is HORRENDOUS but our driver was Excellent.
With a private guide you are not forced to visit carpet factories/gold centres etc. as happens with other operators group excursions.
We were protected from hawkers & hassle and all or tickets etc. were sorted for us.
We were very impressed with Memphis and will definitely use them again when we return to Egypt and highly recommend them.

This trip BLEW my mind

Ever since my friends and I stepped off the plane, we have day dreamed the trip over and over in our heads. Camel rides around the pyramids, horseback riding around the Giza pyramids at sunset, seeing Ramses statue, experiencing the vast collection of treasures in the National museum, and MUCH MUCH MORE. Not at one point did I feel unsafe, or that I was being segregated. Traffic was terrible, but thankfully Memphis provides the best drivers in Egypt to ensure safe travel from each destination. We ate at local restaurants giving us the real, and full, Egyptian experience. Maha was an EXCELLENT tour guide, she knew anything and everything we asked her, she also gave us great tips to steering clear of the people trying to sell you things everywhere you go. I cannot forget to mention Hussen Zakaria, the man who put our trip together and made it all happen, he made this idea we had into a reality. A once in a lifetime trip, great pricing, great food, great sights, even better people
I just got a phone call from one of my friends who went on the trip asking me if the last 4 days actually happened. Truly an amazing experience.

We had the pleasure of taking a one-day tour with Memphis Tours at the end of February 2012 and had a wonderful time at the pyramids of Giza and the Egyptian Museum. Our guide, Mohamed Abdel Salam, was very knowledgeable and courteous. We were travelling with our two young children and Mohamed was very accommodating since we had to tailor our tour to the abilities and humour of our little ones. We would definitely book another tour with Memphis Tours.
Great day tour - Cairo and Giza

We just finished our day tour to the Egyptian museum in Cairo, a quick tour of how papyrus paper was made, lunch in Giza, the pyramids, a camel ride and finally the sphinx. It was a busy day, but full of great sights and lots of information from our guide. Our guide Amr was great and very helpful with the local vendors and pointing out things we should avoid as well as which extras were worth it. Transportation to all these spots was also top notch. We only had a one day layover in Cairo, and we called the day before to see if we could get any kind of tour. Live chat was available online before booking so that we could ask any question. They did everything they could to make it easy to book and answered all questions well. They emailed us an itenerary immediately and provided a secure site to make a payment.
Then they met us at the airport and we had a wonderful day. Our every need was taken care of. Mohammed Abdess-alam was our tour guide, and he was absolutely wonderful. He took excellent care of us and took care of our every need. He even helped us to make change because we only had larger US dollars, so he made payements for us when needed and we reimbursed him. He spoke excellent English and was a very knowledgeable Egyptologist. He was fun and friendly and made us feel safe. When we wanted to ride a camel, he found a safe vendor to provide that service.
I would definitely come back to Egypt for another tour and would only select him to provide the tour. Next we would like to see Alexandria.
All that we saw today ( pyramids, bazaar, Museum of Egypt, lunch on the Nile) was incredible and the perfect way to spend a day in Cairo.

I am a single lady and was nervous of visiting tourist attractions in Cairo post the troubles in Cairo. I contacted Memphis Tours and found them so helpful, professional and inexpensive. The tour leader, Ahmed El Sayed, was really helpful in arranging my day tours and the tour guide Mahmoud Shehab was brilliant with his knowledge and very re-assuring to me as I had a bad experience when I visited The Pyramids on my own last year (which I wouldn't recommend). I will certainly book with Memphis Tours again when I return to Cairo and would recommend them to anyone travelling to Cairo and Egypt. I loved Memphis and would recommend the trip through the counstryside to the Museum...it's worth a visit.

I was gladly surprised the way my tour proceeded. First of all I felt comfortable knowing that Memphis Tour would take care of every aspect of my trip. Also, the very friendly staff Farahat and Osama provided some good laughs.
Another aspect is that I couldn't see any sign of instability as I heard some folks saying. Good for me so that Cairo Museum wasn't so crowded as it was before the revolution because people are afraid to face a suposed poltical instability.

We booked our tour to Giza pyramids, Cairo museum & El-Kaleli bazaar with Memphis tours online and they reliably sent us their guide, Emad Seleem to our hotel on 5th of June to pick us up.
We were a family of four with two boys of 8 & 10 years and Emad was extremely nice & knowledgeable tour guide who made our one day tour in Cairo a memorable one. He was careful to make the tour enjoyable to the kids as well. The information he provided was very interesting and was not too much as well, which went down well with all of us. He arranged a camel ride for us ( for a fee) which was great.
In the Cairo museum, which has uncountable no: of exhibits, Emad showed us through the most important ones before giving us sometime to wonder around on our own. Thereafter we were taken to the bazaar where he even bargained on our behalf! We all enjoyed the tour very much & would recommend Emad & Memphis tours for your tours.

I hope that you and your coworkers are safe there in Cairo. My daughter and I would like to thank you for providing us a tour that we could never of done without you. We were only in Cairo for 32 hours but went to the Pyramids, several shops and stores, dinner on the Nile, The Egyptian Museum, Old Cairo, and the Grand Bazaar as well as being picked up from the airport and dropped back off again at the end of the trip. The guide you provided was knowledgeable and courteous and the driver always there to keep us on task. I would recommend your services without reservation.

Egypt can be an intimidating country to travel thru without a guide. In fact, I have never hired a guide any other time so I was a little hesitant. I am so thankful that I did and so thankful that I chose Memphis Tours. Our guide with Memphis was named Tarik. He was absolutely wonderful. Any time we wanted to stop to get sunglasses or a drink or a scarf he would always take us right to a place and then negotiate a good price in Arabic. He was very knowledgable on every single place that we visited....Pyramids...Citadel...Khan al Khalii...Museum...Camel ride was fantastic.
