Arrive in Saudi Arabia's buzzing capital Riyadh to a warm Memphis Tours welcome and transfer to your hotel.

Overnight: Riyadh.

Day 2: Riyadh Day Tour

Start your day of Saudi Arabia Tour Package, by visiting heritage listed Diriyyah, an historic site on the outskirts of Riyadh, which is said to be the birthplace of the first Saudi state and is today the current home of the royal family. The mud-brick walls once fortified a thriving desert city that was a powerhouse of culture and commerce. In 1745, the city was named the country's capital, laying the foundations for what would later become a unified Saudi Arabia.

Take a walk through the old town to admire its many ancient ruins including the once-splendid palace, houses and marketplace. Continue to Masmak Fort, in Riyadh's old quarter, built during the reign of Abdullah bin Rashid in 1895 A.D. Afterwards, explore the Dirah Souq, a market famed for colourful textiles from silk to luxurious pashminas, before stopping for lunch.

This afternoon, be guided through the National Museum, a national treasure and World Heritage Site, composed of eight galleries that tell the complete story of Arabian history - from the creation of the universe to the modern era.

Continue to Murabba Palace, built by King Abdul Aziz in 1937. A family dwelling, it was constructed from local materials and is composed of several smaller palaces, service buildings, and the Royal Diwan. Return to the hotel for overnight.

Overnight: Riyadh.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.

Day 3: Flight from Riyadh to Al Ula - Al Ula Tours

This morning, transfer to the airport for your flight northwest to Al-Ula. For amazing Al Ula Tours, spend your afternoon exploring the wonders of the World Heritage-listed Madain Saleh. Southernmost settlement of the Nabatean kingdom, the city was known as 'Al Hegra' during ancient times and was once a stopover on the very prosperous trade route. The site spreads over 2000 square metres, with an abundance of relics and rock-cut tombs.

Don't miss iconic sites in Al Ula Tours like:

Qasr Al-Farid ("The Lonely Castle")
One of Hegra’s most iconic and largest tombs, Qasr Al-Farid stands alone in the desert, showcasing a majestic but unfinished facade.
Your guide will explain the unique Nabataean burial traditions, and how these tombs were carved directly into the sandstone cliffs.
This stop offers fantastic photo opportunities, especially in the early morning or at sunset.

Jabal Al-Ahmar (The Red Mountain)
Known for its reddish sandstone formations, Jabal Al-Ahmar contains over 18 tombs, some with remarkably well-preserved inscriptions and intricate carvings.
These tombs belonged to high-ranking Nabataean families, giving insight into their hierarchical society and funerary practices.

Jabal Al-Banat (Mountain of the Daughters)
This unique collection of over 30 tombs is believed to have been owned by elite Nabataean women, highlighting the role of women in their society.
The tomb facades are beautifully decorated with Nabataean symbols and Thamudic inscriptions that tell stories of the past.

Diwan & Jabal Ithlib – The Nabataean Meeting Place
Jabal Ithlib, a sacred mountain, was a site for religious rituals and gatherings.
The Diwan, a rock-cut hall, served as a political and spiritual meeting place where Nabataean leaders and merchants discussed trade, governance, and religious ceremonies.
A short walk from the Diwan leads to a narrow passageway resembling Petra’s Siq, which was an important ceremonial route.
