Overnight in Rabat.

Morning tour of Rabat (Kasbah of the Oudayas, Hassan Tower & Mausoleum, Chellah Necropolis). Enjoy a mint tea break with local sweets by the river. Afternoon drive to Fez, stopping at Volubilis (guided tour of Roman ruins) and Meknes (see the grand Bab El Mansour gate and old royal stables).

Overnight in Fez.

Full-day exploration of Fez with a private guide. Wander the UNESCO-listed medina: visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, view the ancient University, see the famous Chouara tannery, and explore vibrant artisan souks and the historic Mellah (Jewish Quarter). A traditional lunch is included. Later, take part in a pottery workshop to learn Fes’s ceramic art firsthand. Afternoon is free to stroll or relax.

Overnight in Fez.

Journey south via the Middle Atlas mountains. Pass through Ifrane (a Swiss-like mountain town) and Midelt, then descend the Ziz Valley to Erfoud, gateway to the Sahara. By late afternoon, switch to 4×4 jeeps for an exciting ride across the Erg Chebbi dunes to your desert camp at Merzouga. Arrive by sunset. Dinner and music under starry skies.

Overnight in a Sahara desert camp.

Sunrise camel trek in the dunes. After breakfast, depart Merzouga. Drive westward, stopping to admire the towering red cliffs of the Todra Gorge. Continue through the Dades Valley and make a short stop in the palm oasis of Skoura. Arrive in Ouarzazate by evening, known as Morocco’s “Hollywood.”

Overnight in Ouarzazate.

This morning, optionally visit Atlas Film Studios in Ouarzazate. Then drive over the High Atlas via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass. En route, explore Aït Ben Haddou, a famous UNESCO-listed kasbah village (seen in many films). Arrive in Marrakech late afternoon. Evening at leisure to explore Jemaa el-Fnaa square or relax.

After lunch (included), enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride around the old city ramparts, ending at the lively Jemaa el-Fnaa square.

Overnight in Marrakech.

A free day to enjoy at your own pace. You can relax at your riad, shop in the souks, or choose an optional excursion (a cooking class, a spa hammam experience, a day trip to Essaouira, or the Atlas Mountains, we can arrange as desired). In the evening, consider a farewell dinner at a rooftop restaurant overlooking the medina.
