Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions? We’ve got answers. Find everything you need to know to plan your perfect trip.

1.Do you need a visa for Fiji ?

Most nationalities receive a free visitor permit on arrival for tourism stays of up to four months. You'll need a passport valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates and proof of onward travel.

2.What is the best time to visit Fiji ?

May through October is the dry season, with lower humidity, less rain and the calmest seas. November through April is warmer and greener but brings more rainfall and the South Pacific cyclone season.

3.How much does a trip to Fiji cost ?

The resort you choose drives the total more than anything else. Our private Fiji packages start around $3,385 per person for nine days, including luxury accommodations, transfers and daily breakfast.

4.How many days do you need in Fiji ?

Seven to ten days is the sweet spot. That allows two nights on the main island plus five or more on an outer island, without spending your vacation on boats and transfers.

5.Which Fiji island should you stay on ?

The Mamanucas are closest to Nadi and easiest to reach, making them ideal for shorter trips. The Yasawas are more remote and dramatic, while the Coral Coast on the main island suits families who want beaches without a boat transfer.

6.Is Fiji safe for travelers ?

Yes. Fiji is politically stable and consistently ranked among the safer South Pacific destinations, with tourism as a cornerstone of its economy. Standard precautions apply, and our private transfers and vetted resorts remove most of the friction.

7.Do you need vaccinations for Fiji ?

No vaccinations are required for most travelers, and there is no malaria in Fiji. Check with your doctor about routine vaccines before you travel.

8.How do you get between the islands ?

By catamaran, private speedboat, or seaplane and helicopter for the more remote resorts. Transfer time and cost vary considerably by island, which is why we build them into the itinerary rather than leaving them to chance.
