Itinerary

Arrival at Muscat International Airport. You will be met by our representative holding a sign with your name and transferred to your hotel. Rest and prepare for the journey ahead.

Overnight in Muscat.

Begin the day with a full exploration of the capital:

• Visit the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, a masterpiece of Islamic architecture.
• Stop at the Royal Opera House (external visit).
• Drive through the Ministries area.
• Photo stop at Al Alam Palace, flanked by Jalali & Mirani Forts.
• Visit Bait Al Zubair Museum, showcasing Omani culture and heritage.
• Explore the colorful Muttrah Souq, famous for incense, silver, and textiles.
Overnight in Muscat.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Depart east along the coast:

• Stop at Bimmah Sinkhole, a natural turquoise water-filled crater.
• Short hike and photo stop at Wadi Shab.
• Visit Wadi Tiwi, known for lush plantations and dramatic cliffs.
• Continue to Sur, visit the Dhow Factory and Ajya Lighthouse.
• Evening 2030 move to visit to Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve to witness green sea turtles nesting
Overnight in Sur.

Drive into the Eastern Hajar mountains:

• Visit Wadi Bani Khalid, with its palm groves and emerald pools (swimming opportunity).
• Continue to Wahiba Sands, a vast sea of golden dunes.
• Experience dune bashing and enjoy a desert sunset.
Overnight at desert camp in Wahiba Sands.

After Breakfast:

• Photo stop at Bahla Fort (UNESCO site), Oman’s oldest and largest fort.
• Explore Jabrin Castle, known for its ornate ceilings and Islamic architecture.
• Stop at the ruined village of Birkat Al Mouz, with its ancient falaj irrigation system and banana plantations.
Overnight in Nizwa.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After Breakfast:

• Visit the traditional Nizwa Souq and Fort.
• Explore Al Hamra, home to Bait Al Safah Living Museum, where locals showcase traditional practices.
• Stop at Misfat Al Abriyeen, a mountain village with stone houses and terrace farming.
• Visit the abandoned village of Ghul and continue to Jebel Shams, Oman’s highest peak (3,009m), for panoramic views of the Grand Canyon of Arabia.
• Return to Muscat in the evening.
Overnight in Muscat.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast, transfer to the marina for a full-day snorkeling excursion to the Daymaniyat Islands Nature Reserve.
Swim among colorful coral reefs, tropical fish, and sea turtles. Snacks, soft drinks, and a light lunch (pizza/sandwiches) are provided on board.
Return to Muscat for overnight stay.

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out by 12 PM. Transfer to Muscat International Airport depending on your flight schedule.
