Day 1: Muscat - Nakhal - Wadi Bani Auf

Enjoy our Oman Private Tour Packages. Your tour Manager will pick up you from Muscat at 08:00. Drive to Barka to visit fish market and witness local people how they barter fresh catch fish. The next stop is Nakhl which also has the highest fort in Oman, standing proudly on top of a hilltop. The fort is 350 years old and is set in a gorge, surrounded by a mountain enclave. Between Nakhl and Rustaq a hidden road leads up a 2000 mtr part of the Hajar Mountain range. Stop at Wadi Bani Auf where the main attraction is the old houses nestled on the slopes of the mountain and this Wadi is also well known as the snake gorge because of the wide variety of desert snakes that live here. Proceed to Bilad Sayt a village that is famous for its clay houses and the Oasis in which the village population lives. Picnic lunch box / lunch at local restaurant. After lunch we proceed to the villages of Al Hamra and Misfah also known as Misfat Al Abreen. Misfah has a falaj system and green terraces which provides the population of Oasis dwellers abundant bounty in terms of fruits (mango, papaya, banana and dates) and vegetables in spite of the dry vegetation elsewhere. Go back to Nizwa and check in to your hotel. Overnight at Golden Tulip Nizwa hotel.

Day 2: Nizwa Fort - Wahiba Sands

Enjoy Oman Nature Tours. Breakfast at the hotel and check out. 08:00 AM – pick up from the hotel Visit the Nizwa fort which has been strategically built atop a hill overlooking the ancient city with its colorful domes and bustling market below. Nizwa Fort, built by Imam Sultan bin Saif al Ya'arubi in 1668, is the biggest fort in the Arabian Peninsula with an exterior diameter of its circular structure of 150 feet, and over 115 feet high. From there you continue Birkat al Mauz. There is a full settlement of clay ruins (ancient houses) that are still partially inhabited and was once very famous for the banana plantations. A picnic lunch box / lunch at local restauran. Drive to Wahiba Sand via Sinaw and Mudaybi where you will see old mud houses with a deserted souq in the center. Continue to Sinaw, passing numerous small enclosures made of palm fronds that nowadays house goats and sheep. Move to Wahiba Sands is a vast mass of undulating red and white sand dunes rising up to 200 meters and stretching as far as the eye can see. The sands are the traditional homes of the nomads and the Bedouins, so it is common to see them moving through the desert with their camels (Camel ride optional). Sleep sheltered by Bedouin style accommodation under a roof of starry skies! Enjoy a traditional Arabic meal, Omani coffee and dates. Overnight at Arabian Oryx Camp, Desert Camp.

Day 3: Wahiba - Wahiba Sands - Sur

After Breakfast 08:00 AM pick up from In sharp contrast with desert is Wadi Bani Khalid, a beautiful Wadi indeed. The wadi has clear deep blue waters, where the shades of the palm trees are inviting for a relaxing siesta! Catch a glimpse of the pretty villages scattered all over Wadi Bani Khalid as they cling precariously to the slopes of the rugged mountain-side (Please bring along your swimwear, the clear waters of the Wadi are very inviting! Also please note that light clothing and walking shoes may be more suitable on this trip). A picnic lunch box / lunch at local restaurant In Sur visit the fishermen’s harbor and witness the fishermen in action. Proceed on to the Dhow building yard. Dhows are traditional Omani wooden fisher boats that are even today, built by hand. Check-in to hotel. After a refreshing shower and dinner assemble in the main lobby of the Carapace research Centre around 21:00 hrs where the rangers will divide you into groups of 10-15 people. Proceed on a 15 min walk to the place where the green turtles nest on the calm beaches of Ras Al Jinz. The turtles can be seen late at night (21hrs to 23hrs) OR early in the morning. Enjoy this natural phenomenon an experience that is guaranteed to stay in your memory for a long time. Overnight at Carapace research Centre, Camp.

Day 4: Ras Al Jinz - Muscat

After Breakfast pick up to Start your journey back to Muscat. Continue via Qalhat where Bibi Miriam’s tomb (photo stop) is located. Proceed to Wadi Shab where beautiful clear pools of the wadi oasis are a serene and rewarding sight in the otherwise barren environment. After visiting the Wadi – proceed to the white beaches of Finns where a picnic lunch box will be served. Also see the Bimah Sinkhole, a natural hole in the round created by a collapsing mountain. The hole is filled with blue-green sea water. Finally we pass through the village of Quriyat, guarded by its 18th century fort and return to Muscat.

- If your sightseeing tours include domestic flights or ferry boat, an extra supplement for your child may apply.


Payment Policy:

Reservations should be made as early as possible to book your desired Oman Packages tour, spaces will be secured upon receiving a deposit of 50 %. This deposit forms part of your final payment. Deposits can only be made by credit cards, wire transfer and or the Western Union, and the balance of payment to be paid one week before tour start date.


Oman Entry Visa:
You need to have a valid passport at least 6 months beyond your scheduled return date to enter Oman. The cost of single entry visa is OMR5 (around £8) for 10 days obtained upon arrival at the airport.For more info on entry visa to Oman please check with the Oman consulate or embassy at your country.
