“Nile River and Lake Nasser Cruises & Bahariya Oasis Tour”
Cromaris, 2/16/13
Firstly I'd like to say thank you for all of the " Menphis Tour" team for
every effort dispensed to make our trip something very special.
The overall tour was just spectacular and exceeded our expectations. Thanks
so much for the professionalism, timely service and attention.
The guides were extremely personable and made sure everyone had a great day
in each place. We had such a wonderful time on tour to Bahariya Oasis. We
got to see so many amazing sights in Western Desert and we loved every
minute of it.
The well-planned cruises were lovely and the food were freshly made and
delicious. There was much more comfort than expected.
In particular, I'd like to thank our tour operator Mr. Mohamed Sakr for excellent tour arrangements and free cruises upgrades.
This is a very professional and well-organised tour operator. We feel like
we are having a friend bring us around to show us the sights in your
wonderful Country.
It was such a wonderful experience and we would definitely recommend Menphis
Tours to anyone who wants to explore Egypt.
We intend to visit Egypt again and no doubt the next time will request your
services again.

Amazing vacation in Egypt with Memphis Tours
The Ahanyas, 1/8/13
We had a great time visiting Egypt this December (2012) with Memphis tours. Right from receiving us at the airport to taking us around through the whole itinerary and back to the airport, the service was smooth and effortless. Our tour guides were awesome. I wish I could learn all that they know about their history. Our tour guide Sheriff in Cairo was warm, friendly, punctual, knowledgeable and efficient. A trip to Bahariya Oasis and a night of camping under the million stars and a full moon in the white desert is a dream come true. The experience was only enriched with the people (guide sheriff, driver zakaria and the cook) who took us there. They cook such delicious food in the middle of nowhere. A cruise up the nile river is more than what I had imagined it would be. The warmth of the people we met while visiting the Kom Ombo, Edfu, karnak and luxor temples and the knowledge of the tour guide is mind blowing. Back in Cairo, we never felt unsafe. With our tour guide Sheriff around, we never had to worry about anything. He is there is take care of all of wishes and requests. This vacation is an amazing experience. I highly recommend Memphis tours. Thanks to Mohammed Basheer (tour manager) who is soo patient in answering all our calls and helping us track our lost luggage. Despite the lost luggage, we had a fantastic time and that speaks volumes about the kind of service we got from Memphis tours. Now, I wish Memphis tours does tours in all the other countries I have on my bucket list

Oasis Tour with Memphis Tours
Golfer, 6/27/12
My sister and I really enjoyed our Oasis Tour with Memphis tours that we took in February of 2011. This tour opened up a part of Egypt that was unknown to us and was so different than the typical temple/ruin tours that most people expect in Egypt. The size and lushness of the oasis towns and variety of the desert was amazing. Our guide, Deen Mosleh, was attentive to our needs and preferences while guiding us. We love taking pictures and he made sure not to rush us through our stops so that we could explore and find the perfect picture. His love for the desert was evident. The only problem that we encountered was no hot water at the first hotel that we were staying at (they were renovating and we were the only guests). Deen took care of the problem promptly. One warning to anyone taking this tour; the desert gets extremely cold at night. Be prepared.

Excellent tour of Bahariya & the White Desert
Maria, 2/9/12
My friend and I toured the Bahariya Oasis and the White Desert for two days last week through Memphis Tours. The tour was led by Egyptian tour guide and Egyptologist, Mohamed Abdel Salam. We were picked up in Maadi and driven to the Oasis where we met our Bedouin guide and driver, Sam. Then we drove on through some magnificent areas, eventually arriving to the White Desert before sunset. The White Desert was spectacular, and I highly recommend taking a tour with Mohamed. He was professional and extremely knowledgeable of Egyptian history. We felt very safe and comfortable the whole time. Two big thumps up! http://www.memphistours.com/Egypt/Excursions/Cairo-Day-Tours

Safe, comfortable and worth every penny. I would do it again
mjf12, 2/7/12
I don't like to write reviews, but I once worked in the service industry and know that a good recommendation is better than a monetary tip, so I want to support my tour guides with this review. (Even though I was happy to tip them!)

Mohamed Abdel Salam was knowledgeable, personable and responsive to our every need. Our Beduoin guide, Sam, was friendly, capable, fun, and cooked an excellent meal!

I was able to fully appreciate the desert attractions because all other logistics were, simply put, easy!

I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend either of these guides.

My fantasic time in Egypt
DaphneM8, 2/9/11
Fist off our trip was fantastic Egypt was everything and more that we expected.
A big thanks to Hamada, he picked us up from airport with wonderful big smile and nothing was ever to much trouble to organise or change. Also a big thank you to our guide Emad Seleem wow!! the knowledge this man has about his history is amazing. We are two nurses from new Zealand now working in Saudi Arabia, the team from Memphis tours kept us safe, organised daily sightseeing tours with an amazing Egyptologist, used air-conditioned vehicles, Hotels fantastic . Would love to return think one week not enough time.
Next time I would make sure I have tip money, tipping is a concept that is new to me and found I never had enough change, so make sure you have smaller note changed at airport like 20 and 50.
Thanks Menphis

“An amazing trip through the deserts of Egypt”
crash52, 6/23/10
I booked a desert safari with memphis tours for 7 days.
What I got was an amazing journey through the Sahara desert.
I was shown so many things, for example an old fort which was built on top of a temple.
We visited some desert oasis, saw mummies and went inside a cave.
The guide was a very kind and professional man. He knew where to go without any gps and could explain everything about the locations we visited. He also cooked very well and varied (quite important when you only get to eat what he can make out of the things you took with you in the car during the entire trip!).
For anyone who wants to see more than just temples and pyramids, this is deffinitely the right thing!
