My day out with Memphis Tours was not the typical day out for tourists, as I had specific needs to talk with local Nubians. I needed a professional to organise the day for me, to accompany me, facilitate the introductions and act as interpreter throughout. I called on Memphis Tours as I had used them several times in the past for more typical holidays. Eman Rashad handled the arrangements, and Zizo was my appointed guide. The day went extremely smoothly; Zizo was totally professional, managed to find some excellent people to talk with, and offered suggestions on what should be discussed to ensure that we had covered everything that I might be interested in. The sessions ended with being invited into one host's house to meet his family, and another session with an invite to Sudan, and I accept these as being huge compliments. It was an extremely successful and satisfying day, and I would certainly go back to Memphis Tours when I need another such day out.
