Fes Merzouga Marrakech Tour in 8 days to travel between Morocco’s most famous cities, Fez and Marrakech, with plenty of time to enjoy the beauty and culture of this fascinating country in between. Begin in enchanting Fez before traveling to Erfoud and Ouarzazate with stops along the way of the Sahara to visit countless kasbahs and relics of Morocco’s imperial history and Berber culture. You will end up your Morocco vacation and tour in Marrakech, the pearl of Morocco’s south.

Day 1: Arrival Fez

A driver will meet you at Fez Saiss Airport to escort you to the hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle. Check into your room and relax for the evening in Fez.
Meal: Dinner

Day 2: Fez Sightseeing Tour

After breakfast in your hotel, you will be picked up to spend the whole day touring Fez. See the medieval medina, the Attarine or Bou Anania Madrassas, the Nejjarine Fountain, Moulay Idriss Mausoleum and the Karaouine Mosque. You can enjoy a typical lunch (optional) in a traditional restaurant in the heart of Medina. In the afternoon, visit the souks and Fez Jedid (New Fez). Return to your hotel in the evening for dinner and another night in Fez.

Day 3: Fez - Midelt - Erfoud (480 km)

After breakfast, you will be picked up to depart for Erfoud. On the way, you will pass by Ifrane, a charming ski resort, and Azrou, an important handicraft centre. Stop in Midelt for lunch (optional). After lunch you will pass through Errachidia and the Ziz Valley, dotted with date palm trees, which are the source for the yearly date festival in Erfoud. After arriving, check into your hotel and enjoy dinner and overnight in Erfoud.

Day 4: Erfoud

Full free day in Erfoud with three optional possibilities to discover the desert
Option 1 : Half day city sightseeing of Erfoud and Rissani with lunch ($55)
Option 2 : 4x4 excursion to the dunes of Merzouga with picnic lunch ($100)
Option 3 : 4x4 excursion to the dunes of Merzouga with dinner and a night under  a Bedouin tent ($125)

Day 5: Erfoud - Ouarzazate (370 km)

After breakfast at your hotel, you will continue to Tinghir via the Tinjdad. Visit of the famous Todra Canyons. Lunch (optional) on the spot. After lunch, visit the Dades Canyons before continuing to Ouarzazate via the 1000 Kasbahs Road and the Dades Valley, famous for its roses and yearly Moussem (rose festival). Check into your hotel for dinner and overnight in Ouarzazate.

Day 6: Ouarzazate - Marrakech (210 km)

In the early morning, you will leave to visit the Taourirt and Tifeltout Kasbahs before continuing to Ait Benhaddou, which is the most spectacular fortress in the south of Morocco. Lunch (optional) at the terrace of a restaurant facing the Kasbah. Transfer to Marrakech via the Tichka Pass (2260 m altitude), offering an impressive view of heart of the Atlas Mountains. Check into your hotel in Marrakech and enjoy dinner and the evening in the city.

Day 7: Marrakech Tour

After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy the entire day touring in Marrakech. The historical sightseeing includes Menara Garden, the Saadian tombs, Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia and the Dar Si Saïd museum. Lunch will be served back at the hotel before visiting the souks and handicraft quarters in the afternoon to go shopping. End the day at the famous Djemâa El Fina before returning to the hotel.
Optional : Traditional dinner under caidal tents at the famous “Chez Ali” restaurant with folkloric performances from the different regions of Morocco.

Day 8: Final Departure

Breakfast at your hotel in Marrakech, then you will be transferred to Marrakech Airport for final departure.

  • Payment Policy:

    Reservations should be made as early as possible to book your desired Morocco tour, spaces will be secured upon receive a deposit of 25 %, and during the Christmas and New Year holidays and tour packages the required deposit is 50%. This deposit forms part of your final payment. Deposits can only be made by credit cards, wire transfer and or Western Union

  • Morocco Entry Visa:

    You need to have a valid passport at least 6 months beyond your scheduled return date to enter Morocco and you can obtain a visa from Morocco Consulate before departure. Also, entry visa is available upon arrival Morocco airports against USD 27 per passport for specific nationalities and need to check before. Some nationalities don’t need a visa to visit Morocco for the purpose of tourism for up to 3 months such as United States of America, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Denmark, Netherlands, New Zealand, Switzerland.
