Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival Kigali - Welcome to Rwanda

Begin your Tour of Rwanda with a warm welcome at Kigali International Airport, followed by a smooth transfer to your hotel to relax and unwind.

Day 2: Kigali City Tour - Drive to Ruhengeri

On your second day, after breakfast, continue your Tour of Rwanda with a Kigali city tour, rich in over a century of history. Once a German territory, you’ll explore the National Museum, craft center, and Genocide Memorial site. After a fascinating morning, drive to Ruhengeri, home to the Volcanoes National Park.

Day 3: Volcanoes National Park - Monkey Trekking

On day three, set out once more into the National Park, this time embarking on an exciting trek to spot the playful Golden Monkeys.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking - Volcanoes Park - Lake Kivu

On the fourth day of your Rwanda Gorilla trip, you’ll register for the unforgettable Gorilla trekking experience, joining a small group and receiving a detailed briefing. The trek can last anywhere from two to six hours or more, depending on the gorillas’ movements. Along the way, guides pause often for rest and photos.

After the trek, meet your driver-guide for a transfer to your lodge for lunch. Later, depart from the volcanic foothills and head to Lake Kivu Serena, arriving by evening. Spend a relaxing afternoon enjoying optional activities at your leisure.

Day 5: Kigali - Fly Back Home

On your final day, enjoy some leisure time at your own pace before heading back to Kigali. The journey offers breathtaking views of scenic plantations and rolling green hills, leading you to the city for your departure.
