Awesome guide Sayed Selim, awesome Memphis
Rachel, 1/9/13
Thanks very much to our great guide Sayed Selim during our Nile cruise. He told us lot interesting stories during the visits to different temples, and arranged our trip in a way that we could see everything while not getting too stressful. Thanks to the additional free day-hotel, so that we can have a rest in Luxor before heading back to Cairo after the cruise. If one day we go back to Egypt, will definitely contact Memphis again!

“It was a great experience with Memphis tour”
pearl L, 10/12/12
If you like something personalize, being able to choose whatever you like in the tour, choose Memphis Tour. I have experienced their excellence via my trip to Egypt in September. I have been always avoiding group travel tours as lack of flexibility, no -new progamme etc. But travel in Egypt i thought better to go with a tour to avoid any unexpected tragedy. I picked Memphis among 5 tours company as their quick response and resonable price offer.
I made good choice! Memphis tour offered very best private service, there is always a car waiting whenever we are ready or finish. The resturant they took us to were fantastic! we even made our own choice one night instead of the original plan! They are very flexible. Nevertherless, we have to cancel one programme due to some personal reason, Memphis tour even switched us to another exciting programme(Hot Ballon riding) we wanted to try without further charge! We cancelled another programme as the weather is too hot, then we got a sound and light show for the same site in the evening instead, free of charge of cource!
They have provide service beyong our expectation.
I must say thank you to the customer care Mr. Gamal, tour leader Hamad and guide Yasuur, they are very helpful and friendly, made us the whole trip very smooth.
I had a wonderful and memorable trip to Egypt, with Memphis tour
I highly recommend them to those who want a safe, clean, enjoyable trip in Egypt.

pre-travel review

I am heading to Egypt in a few days and I have been using Memphis tours to organize a number of excursions. They have been excellent: they reply very quickly at any time of the day, they are helpful, and they listen to any suggestions that you might have. Highly recommended. Can't wait to begin with them.

An A for effort and communication
lbreuter, 2/14/12
We very much enjoyed our Memphis tours experience to Luxor. We appreciated the effort that you put into making the trip work for us. It was a last minute trip with 11 people involved and you did not hesitate to make it happen for us practically overnight. Thanks for your communication at every step of the way.

Egypt - enjoyed every moment, thanks to Memphis Tours
Tamara D, 2/11/12
Memphis Tour Company was recommended to me by a friend who recently travelled to Egypt. I found their staff members to be very gracious and their service throughout my trip excellent. All I had to do was enjoy the customized excursions they planned for me based on what I wanted to do. The most enjoyable part for me was being shown the Wonders of Egypt by Egyptians who are very proud of their country!

Shaimmaa Baheeg - great tour guide
Verity T, 1/21/12
My boyfriend and I went to Egypt and booked a couple of tours with Memphis Tours - One of the temples of Luxor and Karnak, the other the Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut's Tomb. Our guide was Shaimaa Baheeg, who was fantastic and made our trips really enjoyable. She was very friendly and welcoming, as well as being knowledgeable about everything we saw. She was happy to fit the trips around what we wanted to see and do, and made good recommendations for food and other trips we might like to do while we were in Luxor. Thanks, Shaimaa!

Great, informative tour for the money
LovetoTravel_1981, 3/14/11
My brother and I traveled to Cairo and booked tours of the Egyptian museum, pyramids, sphix, Khan El-Khalili bazaar as well as a tour of Luxor the next day (we booked a flight to Luxor separately). In Luxor, we saw the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut temple, Karnak Temple and the Luxor Temple. The tour company and guides were very informative. They picked us up on time, the private air-conditioned car and guide were amazing to have and very worth it. We even finished the tour in Luxor and they let us got to a hotel and wait for our flight and did not charge us extra! They do take you to a few stores between stops that appear to be somewhat promotional to the local vendor however, I thought seeing papyrus being made and seeing the alabaster vases being made was informative and interesting. You do not have to buy anything and can make the stop as long or short as you want. I’m not entirely sure if they’d have a problem if you did not wish to stop in general, but it did not seem like it would be. I did a lot of research and most of the tours do the same thing. I would certainly recommend booking with Memphis Tours. If you have a custom tour in mind give them a call and they work with you on the details and price. I really do not think you'll save on money or time booking through a hotel or trying to wing it with a cab once you arrive.

Great Value
Kenttx74, 2/10/11
Memphis is the best deal going.

We took 3 tours with them. They were always on-time and did a great job explaining things to us and making sure our trip was going great.

Our guide Ahmed was fantastic. He knew everything there was to know about the sights and the city.

I am still amazed at how affordable it was. I highly recommend.
