Itinerary

Jambo and welcome to Kenya a place whose beauty speaks words like no other, you will be greeted at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi and transferred to your hotel by our representative. Overnight at Fairmount The Norfolk, a lovely lodge style hotel that meets your every need.

On your second day after enjoying a delicious breakfast start your Kenya safari package to the Samburu National Reserve, arrive in time for lunch at your fantastic lodge called the Samburu Intrepids and enjoy the evening with a game viewing drive, then return to your lodge for your evening meal.

You will have a second day here to take in all that’s Samburu, rich with wildlife such as the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk and the Beisa oryx, referred to as Samburu Special Five. The reserve is also populated with the minimum of 900 elephants. Large predators such as the lion, leopard, and cheetah are an important attraction.

Depart for the Pejeta Conservancy on your fourth day with views of Mount Kenya this imposing giant casts its shadows of magic across the land and delivers a spectacular ambiance. During your stay, you will visit the chimpanzee reserves as well as explore the waterholes and drive in search of the Big Five. Luxury doesn’t leave you because you’re on a safari, you will overnight at the Sweetwaters Tented Camp fitted with all your needs.

On the fifth day, your journey continues to Lake Nakuru National Park, a shallow alkaline lake that is world-renowned for its collection of birds that give the lake a pinkish hue in the distance. Hippos, buffalos, waterbucks, giraffes and more can be seen surrounding the late with its majestic Acacia trees. You will spend the night at Flamingo Hill Tented camp decorated in calming safari tones, natural woods, wrought iron accents, and crisp linens, each tent has been thoughtfully designed to maximize comfort.

Finally, for your sixth and seventh day, the Maasai Mara opens its arms inviting you to delve into its charms. With two days to spare at the Mara Intrepids Camp, take to the Maasai Mara a menagerie of magnificent animals including the Big Five. Most beautiful during the migration of millions of wildebeests, zebras and gazelles from the Serengeti of Tanzania and the Mara River to the grasslands. With morning and evening game drives your days will be fulfilling.

Another day of adventure at the Maasai Mara where your guide will take you on well-planned tours to give you an overview of all that the Mara has to offer or take the chance to relax in peace and calm.

After breakfast at the Camp, bid farewell to the Maasai Mara as you set on your journey back to Nairobi. Drive back down the Great Rift Valley to Nairobi, passing the dormant volcano, Mount Longonot, and lakes Elementaita and Naivasha on the way. Keep an eye out for herds of giraffe and gazelle and head up the escarpment.
