Itinerary

Arrival to Menara Airport in Marrakech, meet by our driver and then transfer to your hotel.

Overnight in Marrakech.

Breakfast. Your introduction to Marrakech will begin in the Medina, the old quarter of the Marrakech. From here we will explore this historically charming area by foot. In jemaa el Fna, you will visit the famous 12th century Koutoubia Mosque and its influential minaret. After tasting a fresh squeezed orange juice, you will be driven to the Lower Medina to explore more of Marrakesh’s secrets: the sixteenth century Saadian Tombs with its stark towers, the 19th century Bahia Palace, originally built for Si Moussa, a former slave who became King Moulay Hassan’s chamberlain. The palace holds a courtyard and riads decorated with beautiful carved stucco, Arabic architecture. Optional lunch at one the Moroccan restaurants of the Medina and then transfer to your hotel.

Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast at your hotel, we leave the city's hustle behind and travel the rugged road to Ouarzazate through the spectacular scenery of the Atlas Mountains. We stop in the Kasbah town of Aït Ben Haddou, which, at a height of 1,160m, stands in stark contrast to this vast plateau. Originally a crossing point for traders crossing the Sahara Desert, this UNESCO world heritage site is equally recognized as the location for films such as ‘Laurence of Arabia’ and ‘Gladiators’. Optional lunch at a local restaurant. Transfer to your hotel, dinner.

Meals: Breakfast and Dinner

Breakfast at your hotel. Morning departure toward Erfoud, stop in Kelaa M’Gouna known for the production of cosmetic products using the extract of locally grown roses. Continue northeast to the city of Boumalne Dadès to see the beautiful Kasbahs with a panoramic view of the Valley and the Mountains beyond. Continue towards Tinghir and the Todra Gorges, 300 meters high and one of the most impressive Moroccan sites. The Todra Gorge is one of the premier climbing and trekking destinations in Morocco with high walls offering hundreds of routes of sport and multi-pitch climbing. Optional lunch at a restaurant with a view of the huge canyons. Then continue to Erfoud and drive to Merzouga. Enjoy a camel ride during the sunset.

Overnight in the camp in Merzouga.
Meals: Breakfast and Dinner

Breakfast in the camp and see the sunrise. Then, transfer back to Skoura via the road of thousand Kasbah. Optional lunch at La Petite Gorge Restaurant in Tinghir. Continue to Skoura village via the road of thousand Kasbahs, stop at the beautiful Palmeraie, and visit Ameghdil Kasbah dating from the 17th century. Transfer to your hotel.

Overnight in Skoura or Ouarzazate.

Meals: Breakfast and Dinner

Breakfast. Then drive west through the High Atlas Mountains and the dramatic pass of Tizn Tichka en route to Marrakech. This hairpin road is one of only two passes through the largest mountain chain in Africa. Optional lunch en route, afternoon arrival in Marrakech. Free time for your arrangement.
