DAY 1: CITY OF ORIGIN-SANTIAGO DE CHILE

Arrival to the city of Santiago de Chile. Assistance in the airport and transfer to the hotel. Santiago a city that will surprise you with a combination of the cosmopolitan and the traditional, becoming one of the most thriving capitals in Latin America for its economic power and the visual impact of its skyscrapers surrounded by the Andes mountain range. Free time and accommodation.

DAY 2: SANTIAGO DE CHILE

Regular guided city tour

Your guide will wait for you in the hotel lobby to visit, together with other passengers, the capital city of Chile.

Founded in 1541, it is a mixture between the ancient and the modern, which you can appreciate through today's guided tour. You will visit the Plaza de Armas where the Cathedral, the Post Office, the Municipality of Santiago, among others.

The tour continues to the east with its modern buildings with a detention in a jewelry store in the sector.

DAY 3: SANTIAGO DE CHILE

Free day to enjoy the city. Overnight in Santiago de Chile.
Optional: Excursion to Valparaíso and Viña del Mar
Named a Cultural Patrimony of Humanity, the city of Valparaíso draws a picturesque and particular landscape on the shores of the Pacific Ocean that is worth seeing.
Grown between two hills, the city is characterized by its funiculars, stairs, alleys and colorful architecture.
9 Kilometers from Valparaíso is the town of Viña del Mar, also known as "Garden City", for the maintenance and combination of beautiful green areas mixed in its urban area.
Its architecture stands out, its imposing palaces and its famous Flower Clock, photographed by hundreds of visitors from all over the world.

DAY 4: SANTIAGO DE CHILE- PUERTO MONTT - PUERTO VARAS

After breakfast, transfer to the airport to take a flight to Puerto Montt where we will take a private transfer to the town of Puerto Varas.

DAY 5: PUERTO VARAS

To know Chiloé is to enter a magical world of surprising cultural and natural wealth. Chiloé's identity will surprise them since they step on the big island for the first time.

Breakfast at the hotel.

Your guide awaits you in the hotel lobby to get to know it through channels, the Big Island of Chiloé. They accompany the marine avifauna ferry typical of this region.

When you dock in the town of Chacao, you can see larch wood constructions that are common throughout the island as well as one of the Churches, declared a National Monument. A coastal route passes through the resorts of Caulín and Lacuy, known for their oysters and marine fauna. Between November and March the beach of Puñihuil, you can board a boat that will take you to the islets where there is the presence of Magellan and Humboldt penguins: for generations they have cohabited being the only part of the World where this characteristic occurs (National Monument).

Expert guides will illustrate the life of these birds, the environment and the abundance of food that makes it possible for these islets to become a true wild paradise.

You will finally arrive in the city of Ancud, where the Fort of San Antonio remembers the last Spanish fortifications (built at the end of the 18th century) in the country, next to the Foundation of Patrimonial Churches, the Plaza de Armas and its Municipal Market that offers varied gastronomic and craft options on the Island. Return to Puerto Varas.

DAY 6: PUERTO VARAS-SAN CARLOS DE BARILOCHE (ARGENTINA)

In the morning we will cross the Andes by bus or navigation (depending on the weather) to the city of San Carlos de Bariloche. The majestic city is located on the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi, a water mirror that, together with mountains and forests, integrates the context of one of the most beautiful places in Argentina and the world. Transfer to your hotel and rest of the day free.

DAY 7: SAN CARLOS DE BARILOCHE

Regular tour: Bariloche History & Nature

This tour covers the most classic circuit of San Carlos de Bariloche in an active way.

When visiting the most important viewpoints in the area, such as Cerro Campanario and Hotel Llao-Llao, the guide will explain how this small mountain town has become one of the most attractive tourist cities in Patagonia.

You will appreciate the beauty of the Moreno and Nahuel Huapi lakes and the López and Capilla mountains. Then, you will take a nature-oriented hike through the impressive native forest in the Llao-llao Natural Park to end with an interesting visit at a local micro brewery where you will have lunch with a beer tasting.

Duration: 5-6 hours (walk 01:30 Hs). Includes: Lunch Talk and tasting at the Brewery. Drinks included. Not included: Aerosilla on Cerro Campanario.

DAY 9: SAN CARLOS DE BARILOCHE-CALAFATE

In the morning, domestic flight to the town of Calafate, province of Santa Cruz.
Obtaining its name from the small homonymous shrub that surrounds its lands, the small but renowned town of Calafate opens its doors to receive tourists from all over the world.
Located on the border that faces Lake Argentino with the Andes Mountains, Calafate offers a wide range of attractions to enjoy, being a distribution center of excellence to meet the imposing Argentine glaciers.

DAY 10: CALAFATE

Regular Minitrekking Perito Moreno Glacier (it is possible to change this trekking for the clasic Perito Moreno Glacier tour)

It begins at the Port of the Bay "Bajo de las Sombras". There you will embark to reach the opposite shore of the Magellan Peninsula, crossing the Rich Arm of Lake Argentino. Navigation time is approximately 20 minutes.

The specialized guides will lead the group (approximately 10 people), through a coastal path to the southern margin of the glacier. The crampons will be placed there, and they will be given the necessary information for the walk. From there you will begin to ascend slowly to the glacier, with occasional stops to take pictures. This is a unique opportunity to enjoy the different glacier formations in situ, the sensation that is experienced is indescribable.

On the way back, a path through the forest is used, which allows another perspective of the glacier. Upon arrival at the shelter you can have free time for lunch and then the group embarks to navigate back to the starting point.

DAY 11: CALAFATE

Full-day tour Gourmet Glaciers
This full-day navigation offers the most exclusive service of Los Glaciares National Park, furrowing the waters of Lake Argentino aboard the María Turquesa Cruise and visiting the Upsala (one of the largest glaciers), Spegazzini (highest glacier) and Perito Moreno glacier. The boat has capacity for 200 passengers divided into two rooms and is aimed at those who seek personalized attention and an excellent service on board. Lunch and a 1-hour walk in the forest are included within the Spegazzini Canal.

DAY 12: CALAFATE-TORRES DEL PAINE (CHILE)

Private transfer in regular service to the town of Puerto Natales, Andean border crossing that joins both countries (Argentina and Chile). Transfer from bus terminal to Accommodation located inside the Torre Paine National Park. Rest of the day free.

DAY 13: FULL DAY TOUR TORRES DEL PAINE NATIONAL PARK

Named a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO and the eighth wonder of the world in 2013, Torres del Paine National Park is undoubtedly a mandatory stop within Patagonia.

With its imposing mountains, virgin lagoons and intense colors, you will believe you are inside a photograph.

DAY 14: TORRES DEL PAINE- CALAFATE- USHUAIA (ARGENTINA)

Private transfer back to the town of Calafate, Andean border crossing that joins both countries (Argentina and Chile). Transfer to the airport to take a national flight to the city of Ushuaia.

IMPORTANT: Departing flights from Calafate have to leave after 02:30 pm.

DAY 15: USHUAIA

Regular tour to Tierra del Fuego National Park.

Created in 1960 to protect the southernmost portion of the forests along the Beagle Channel, the Tierra del Fuego National Park covers an area of ​​almost 69,000 hectares. Even being one of the most popular tours, we offer a different experience: we accompany our guests in small groups along many unexplored paths, reaching hidden corners of the forest.

We take National Route 3 from Ushuaia and stop at a panoramic point of the Beagle Channel. Then we arrive at the Tierra del Fuego National Park and start our trekking to the Lapataia Viewpoint. In our tours we travel some trails of this exceptional forest. (6 hours each approximately duration of the excursion). After half a day of trekking, we have a good idea of ​​the peculiarities of this unique ecosystem.

The park is furrowed by mountainous cords that divide it into valleys of very difficult access. Unlike other Patagonian Andean parks, it has forests near the sea coast, six kilometers long on the Beagle Channel. This forms the Lapataia bay, which in the Yamana language means “wooded bay” or “good wood bay”.

DAY 16: USHUAIA

Regular half day tour Beagle Channel

We leave the local port towards Alicia Island, where we will observe a colony of sea lions with one hair. Then we bow to the Isla de los Pájaros, where the colonies of royal and imperial cormorants live next to their nests, being able to spot their chicks from spring to autumn.

Again we set course east to another small island that, according to the time of the year, there are two-haired sea lions. Very close is the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, an authentic symbol of the city of Ushuaia, built in 1919. From there we spot the island of rocky cormorants.

On the way back we will disembark on Bridges Island to explore a path of interpretation of flora and birds, telling them the history of the Yaman natives. On this island are the largest anthropogenic yámanas concheros in the region.

Being the largest island we touch the highest panoramic point from where we observe the magnificence of the Beagle Channel with the City of Ushuaia in the distance.

During the crossing we shared coffee with liquor, different varieties of tea, a delicious hot chocolate with sweet cookies and of course the typical Argentinean mate.

DAY 17: USHUAIA- BUENOS AIRES

At the agreed time, national flight to the city of Buenos Aires. Arrival and transfer to your hotel. Buenos Aires currently shines as a cosmopolitan, dynamic and traditional city where European customs predominate in pleasant fusion with Argentine authenticity, influencing each tourist, due to the diversity of options and scenarios that it holds. DAY 18: BUENOS AIRES

Guided city tour
We will tour the city that gave rise to tango with its main attractions and traditions. We will know in depth the Argentine culture, its gastronomy and its history. We will start touring the neighborhoods of the northern area such as Recoleta and Palermo where we will find the typical characteristics such as its wide avenues, its palaces and residences and its green spaces that are the most important ones in Buenos Aires. The tour will continue through the Center where we will travel the widest avenue in the world and we will pass by the Teatro Colón and the Obelisco, a distinctive icon of Buenos Aires and Argentina par excellence.
We will have our first stop in the Plaza de Mayo, the historic center of the city and where our independence was established by 1810. Here we will find The Government House (Casa Rosada), The Metropolitan Cathedral and the Cabildo. We will have time to tour, take photos and continue to the south.
We will visit the neighborhood of San Telmo, the smallest neighborhood of the city but the one with more tradition and customs of our own, to go then to the neighborhood of La Boca (according to its neighbors "La Boca Republic"). There we will have a new stop where we can walk the Caminito passage (open-air museum) and time for taking some photos in the area and in front of the Boca Juniors Stadium, La Bombonera.
The last neighborhood we will visit will be the newest in the city, Puerto Madero.

DAY 19: BUENOS AIRES

Free day to enjoy the city with all the attractions it offers.
In the evening, farewell dinner with traditional tango show.

Tour price currency is set to USD but you can pay in AUD, Euro or British Pound. The prices quoted per person per tour all inclusive and prices are always updated to ensure you receive the lowest price possible. Prices valid until April 30th, 2021 except during the high periods i.e Christmas and New Year and holidays.

Is Latin America safe to visit?

Latin America is a very large continent, and there are many areas that are safe to visit. In most parts, tourists need only to exercise the caution that they would have in any vacation spot—pay attention to surroundings, wear a money belt, and avoid dark and deserted areas—to avoid becoming crime victims. The scenarios that involve tourists usually involve non-violent pick-pocketing or muggings. In South America, we recommend not to make it obvious that you’re a tourist. Try to not speak a foreign language out loud. In addition, you should keep valuable items such as your passport, camera, and your wallet in a pocket or bag in front of you. While sitting outside at a restaurant keep your things on your lap or tied to the foot of the chair.

Which languages are spoken in Latin America?

You will find most of the workers in tourism speak English and at least a third language.

Is it a common practice to give tips in Latin America?

Tipping is essentially a norm in bars, coffee shops, and restaurants. It’s recommended to tip chauffeurs and guides during transfers and paid excursions. In these cases, we suggest calculating the amount according to how satisfied you have been with the service.

It depends on your country of origin and the country you want to visit. It is necessary to check with your migration department.

Cancellation Policy
  • In case you cancel your trip, the following scale of charges will be applied:

From the date of booking until 61 days before your arrival date, 10% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Between 60 and 31 days before your arrival date, 20% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Between 30 and 15 days before your arrival date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Between 14 and 1 days before your arrival date, 100% of the entire tour price will be charged.
 
Additionally, there are cancellation fees on all domestic flights within Egypt. If you cancel a tour at any time, you will be subject to any fees according to the airline’s cancellation policy.
