Your India small group trip Royal India begins from your arrival into Delhi, the political capital of the country. Next visit Agra, the Mughal city famous for Taj Mahal and other monumental marvels. Continue to Jaipur, a royal city with diverse colors and history brimming monuments and citadels. Drive further to Pushkar, the holy city. Continue to Udaipur, most romantic city of Rajasthan. Discover the forts and palaces of the marwar region as you travel further to Jodhpur and Jaisalmer. Next visit the royal city of Bikaner and continue to Mandawa, famous its hand painted havelis and frescoes. The tour culminates in Delhi.

Day 1: New Delhi Arrival

Welcome to Delhi, India! a monumental city with a vibrant mix of old and new teeming bazaars, stately British boulevards, powerful Mughal palaces and forts, and intricate, ethereal towers, temples and tombs. Upon arrival at Delhi International airport, you will be met by our welcome ambassador and escorted to your hotel where you will be assisted with check-in formalities (Check-in time is between 1200-1400 hrs, early check-in is subject to availability).

Day 2: Welcome to Agra

Breakfast at your hotel and proceed for the city tour of Old Delhi. Begin your journey with the Salaam Baalak Trust City Walk - Salaam Balaak trust is a 30 years-old non-government organization that rescues street children and gives shelter to them. It is a guided walking tour of almost 2 hours conducted by kids who used to live in the streets of Delhi before joining the Trust. Later, drive past Red Fort (Remains closed on Monday). Then visit Jama Masjid (Friday Mosque) It is India's largest mosque where more than 20.000 people can kneel in prayer at one time.

Culinary walk experience: Witness Old Delhi’s tapestry of diverse cultures and cuisines. Experience food trail with at least 10+ tasting stops that will redefine your understanding of local food culture. This tour will provide an opportunity to enjoy rickshaw ride & enthrall yourself in this amazing ride. Enjoy a drive through Lutyen’s Delhi with photo stops at India Gate. Drive to Agra (202 Kms / 4.5 Hrs drive approx). Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel.

Agra is one of India’s prime tourist destinations for specifically this reason, though its attractions also extend to an array of other impressive historical sights. The Taj, however, is in a league of its own and is a must-see for any visitor to the city. It is an architectural masterpiece of exquisite craftsmanship and perfect proportions.

Day 3: Proceeding Agra

Early this morning visit the Taj Mahal by sunrise (Remains closed on Fridays). Often considered the pinnacle of Mughal art in India, the Taj Mahal was built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. When declaring it a world heritage site, UNESCO described it as “the jewel of Muslim art in India”.Then, return to your hotel for Breakfast.

Later, we will discover the Agra Fort, another UNESCO heritage site built and added to between the 16th and 17th centuries by successive rulers of the Mughal Dynasty. The elegant building inside reflects an interesting synthesis of Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles. Afternoon at leisure time. Then, enjoy an evening visit Sheroes Hangout Café - A rehabilitation center for girls who are surviving the heinous chemical attacks. You can interact with these girls, share their stories and future planning.

Later, drive back to your hotel.

Day 4: Head to Sawai Madhopur

After breakfast, drive to Ranthambore (280 kms/1.5 hrs drive approx) for Sawai Madhopur (Ranthambore). Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri -This magnificent fortified ancient city, 40 km west of Agra, was the short-lived capital of the Mughal empire between 1572 and 1585, during the reign of Emperor Akbar. Fatehpur Sikri with its grand monuments still narrates the tales of its glory days. It is collection of some stunning architectural marvel of Mughal architecture, monuments like Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal, Diwan-i-Khas and Diwan-e-Aam .Upon arrival, check-in the hotel.Ranthambore, one of the finest tiger reserves in India nestled in the Aravallis, is home to a variety of flora and fauna.

Evening enjoy the Tiger talk show with documentary on tiger conservation in the country, then dinner overnight at your hotel.

Day 5: Continuing Sawai Madhopur

Today early morning enjoy a game drive into Ranthambhore National Park with a naturalist. It is a dry deciduous forest replete with several lakes, rivulets and a magnificent ancient fort overlooking the park. Return to your hotel for Breakfast. Rest of the day at leisure for independent activities. Lunch at the hotel. Evening enjoy a special Rajasthani cuisine Dinner at the hotel . Rajasthani cuisine is among those rare cuisines boasting of a never-ending platter with a plethora of dishes; ranging from tangy drinks to spicy starters, mouth-watering sabzis and crunchy bread along with added delights of chutneys, achars, papad and chhach. Not to forget the delicate desserts and rich crunchy delights that melt in your mouth instantly!

Day 6: Welcome to Jaipur

Post breakfast drive to the pink city of Jaipur (185 km / 4 hrs drive approx). Upon arrival, proceed for check-in at your hotel. Jaipur is the capital and largest city in India’s northern state of Rajasthan. This city is famed for being India’s first planned city featuring a multitude of pink terracotta buildings within the walled historic centre, earning it the nickname,’The Pink City’. Jaipur falls within the Golden Triangle, a popular tourist circuit, which includes Delhi, Jaipur and Agra, and serves as a gateway to the neighbouring desert cities of Jaisalmer and Jodhpur. Today we visit Ladli - A vocational training center for abused, Orphaned & destitute children . Explore Ladli”s girls centre followed by visiting slum children school. At the girl’s vocational training centre, you may interact with the girls, who are building & shaping their future at homely atmosphere with care & love.

Later visit Ladli school, which offers a safe and nurturing place for learning and growth for the street children of Jaipur who do not have, or cannot obtain, formal schooling. Dinner and overnight at hotel

Day 7: Proceeding in Jaipur

After breakfast, take an excursion tour to the ancient capital of Amber to see the fabulous Amber Fort, surrounded by fortified battlements, situated on a ridge just outside Jaipur city. Maharaja Mansingh, Mughal Emperor Akbar’s most successful General, started the construction of Amber Fort in the 17th century.

Ruins and remains are spread over the Aravalli hills and sprawling crenulated walls lattice the surrounding area. At the foot of the hill you will be taken on the jeep up to the main gate. Tour the chambers and hallways of the palace, famous for the excellence of its design and decoration. You will also have a photo stop at the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). Continue your tour of the Pink City, an abode of Rajahs with a visit to the City Palace Museum, which has a superb collection of Rajasthani costumes, and armoury of Mughals and Rajputs including swords of different shapes and sizes with chiselled handles.

Evening enjoy High-Tea (Authentic Rajasthani snacks & Chai) at local restaurant selling traditional and specialty snacks. Later,dinner and overnight at hotel

Day 8: Welcome to Pushkar

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning drive to the holy city of Pushkar (150 Kms / 3.5 Hrs approx.). Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel.Visit the Brahma Temple, the most famous temple in the town and is said to be the only dedicated to Lord Brahma in India. A red spire marks the temple, and over the entrance gateway is the Hans (goose), the symbol of Brahma who is said to have personally chosen Pushkar as his place. Also visit Holy Pushkar lake, closest to the temple of God Brahma. As per mythology, this place is where Brahma and Savitri offered their prayers. It is believed that a dip in this holy river is the harbinger of Moksha - freedom from birth. The lake is surrounded by 52 bathing ghats and more than 500 Hindu temples.Then, experience a special Pooja ceremony at Ghat with a Hindu priest on the banks of Pushkar Lake.Return to your hotel.

Day 9: Jodhpur Tour

Breakfast at the hotel and this morning, drive to the blue city of Jodhpur (200 Kms / 5 Hrs drive approx). Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel. Jodhpur's history revolves around the Rathore Clan. Rao Jodha, the chief of the Rathore clan, is credited with the origin of Jodhpur in India. He founded Jodhpur in 1459. The city is named after him only. It was previously known as Marwar. Jodhpur was the largest state in Rajputana in terms of land area at the time of the British Raj, and it continued to prosper, as did the Marwaris, who were the merchants of that time. When India achieved independence in 1947, the state joined the union of India, and became part of the larger state of Rajasthan, with Jodhpur being its second-largest city.

This evening enjoy your Royal dining experience at Hanwant Mahal - Being in the royal city definitely calls for some pampering. And this restaurant offers a beautiful rooftop setting with a stunning view of the palace, backed by delicious dishes to elevate the entire experience.

Day 10: Jodhpur again!

After Breakfast, enjoy the half day tour of the city. Commence your tour with visit to Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill. The palace apartments like Sukh Mahal, Phool Mahal, Sheesh Mahal etc are beautifully decorated and houses jewelry, costumes, armory, palanquins, howdahs and other remnants of the past. See the Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble memorial to Maharaja Jaswant Singh II built in 1899. Later the royal crematorium and three other cenotaphs were also built here. Then, this afternoon enjoy Bishnoi village jeep safari, brings you the opportunity to explore inhabitance of the Bishnoi community. An optimal place for exposure to traditions and customs of tribal essence. It’s a place captured in a magnificent time warp, where life continues as the days of the past.

Day 11: Udaipur tour

Today post breakfast we will drive to the city of lakes Udaipur (265 Kms / 7 Hrs approx.) en-route visit Ranakpur Jain temples Built in the 15th century in milk-white marble, the main temple of Ranakpur, Chaumukha Mandir (Four-Faced Temple), is dedicated to Adinath, the first Jain tirthankar (depicted in the many Buddha-like images in the temple). An incredible feat of Jain devotion, the temple is a complicated series of 29 halls, 80 domes and 1444 individually engraved pillars.

The interior is completely covered in knotted, lovingly wrought carving, and has a marvellously calming sense of space and harmony. Following visit, continue drive to Udaipur. Upon arrival, check in at hotel. Udaipur, also called the Venice of the East. The city also became a center for the performing arts, painting and crafts. It was founded by Udai Singh II in 1568 as a traditionally planned, fortified city full of palaces, temples and havelis.

Day 12: Head deeper in Udaipur

Today post breakfast, proceed for the city tour of Udaipur to visit the City Palace, situated above Lake Pichola, Udaipur City Palace has housed many royals over four centuries who have each added their own unique preferences to the establishment. Then move to visit Jagdish Temple, a 16th-century temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, it is the largest and most splendid temple in Udaipur. Drive past Fateh Sagar Lake and visit Sahelion-ki-Bari, the Garden of the Maids-of-Honor, which has numerous fountains in four pools, embellished with delicately chiseled kiosks and elephants.

This will be followed by a visit to Saheliyon-ki-bari, a garden that is popular amongst locals and tourists offering lush green gardens and beautiful fountains. Afternoon at leisure time. In the evening, enjoy a boat ride at Lake Pichola (Subject to water level), sailing past picturesque Ghats and palaces, stopping at the island of Jag Mandir, a 17th century water palace. Later, dinner is served at Upré by 1559 AD. Decorated in an Imperial style, this lavish Indian restaurant offers panoramic views from the roof. Enjoy your meal gazing across Udaipur's historic skyline.

Day 13: Final Departure

Breakfast at your hotel. Morning at leisure then checkout and assisted transfer to airport for flight to Delhi or Mumbai.

On arrival connecting the international flight back home.


Tour price currency is set to USD but you can pay in Euro or British pound. The prices quoted per person per tour and prices are always updated to ensure you receive the best possible price. Prices are valid all the year, except during Christmas 2019 and New Year 2020.

Payment Policy

We are offering you to pay a low down payment of just 10% to keep your place on the tour including hotel room, cruise cabin, domestic flight ticket, and other travel-related services. The remaining balance can be paid only two days prior to your arrival date or in cash upon arrival at the destination to your tour guide. This will give you the chance to book your tour with no risk or any loss.

Tour Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your booking at any time prior to commencement of the tour by notifying us in writing. The cancellation charges shall be as follows:

  • If you cancel before 45 days of tour commencement date, there will be no cancellation fees, except components which require per booking (train, flight and safaris).
  • If you cancel on or before 44-30 days of tour commencement date, 25% of the entire tour price will be charged.
  • If you cancel on or before 29-15 days of tour commencement date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged.
  • Less than 14 Days before arrival 100% cancellation will be applicable.
Changes By You

If you request any changes to your travel arrangements once we have confirmed a booking, all out of pocket charges, including charges imposed by our suppliers, will be payable by you. If after the commencement of your tour you request any changes to your travel arrangements, we will do our best to implement them, but we cannot guarantee that it will be possible. In the event of such change(s) being made, you will be liable for any cancellation charges that may be levied for the previously booked service and for any costs incurred by us and our suppliers in attempting to secure any revised arrangements. Any name changes must be provided to us in writing and are subject to any airline/ train fees or penalties.

Passports & Visa Fees

All Passengers are responsible for securing proper documentation prior to joining the tour. Passports are required; in addition, travelers are advised to check with local consulates for full details regarding Visa requirements. Please note securing a valid visa for entry is sole responsibility of the traveler.

Flexible cancellation policy

Memphis Tours offers a very flexible cancelation policy in case the government or the airline issues a travel warning from/to your departure country and destination. In the event that this happens, we will be refunding you the amount paid in full.
