Day 1: New Delhi Arrival

Start you India Group Tour by arriving Delhi. The capital of India is a bustling metropolis that successfully combines the ancient and the modern in its folds. Delhi can broadly be divided into two parts, Old Delhi and New Delhi. Old Delhi was the capital of Delhi’s Muslim rulers notably the Mughals between 17th and 19th centuries. New Delhi is referred to as the Imperial city. On arrival, you will be met transferred to the hotel for a non-alcoholic welcome drink.

Accommodation: Overnight in Delhi

Day 2: New Delhi Tour

Breakfast: At hotel

Morning: Start your day with a visit to Old Delhi. Begin at Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque. Revel in an exhilarating rickshaw ride through the by-lanes of Chandni Chowk (Silver Street). Walk through the old dusty alleyways and other interesting sights! Drive past the sprawling Red Fort, built in 1648 and stands along the river Yamuna. Proceed to New Delhi and see the colonial architecture that defined the British era in India. We’ll travel to Qutab Minar complex - the tallest tower in world for centuries, erected by first Islamic rulers of India and still the most imposing, artistically carved and engraved sandstone pillar anywhere!

Afternoon: Culminate this day tour with a visit to a famous Sikh Temple, we go to our last stop Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. Sikhism is a progressive religion (and in many respects, ahead of its time). You can watch or even join the langar, the voluntary group, cooking and feeding program at the Gurudwara.

Overnight in Delhi

Day 3: Agra Tour

Breakfast at hotel. This morning drive to Agra, the yesteryear capital of the mighty Mughal Empire and currently home to some of the world’s top tourist sites. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel.

This afternoon visits the magnificent Agra Fort, a UNESO World Heritage site built and added to between the 16th and 17th centuries by successive rulers of the Mughal Dynasty. Later visit the Taj Mahal at sunset, one of mankind's greatest architectural feats.

For those interested make a short visit to the “Mother Teresa Home Missionaries of Charity” (if time permits) to meet the nuns at the orphanage who devote their lives to the homeless children of India. Most of the orphans are girls who are more frequently abandoned at birth. Overnight in Agra

Day 4: Bharatpur Tour

Breakfast at hotel.

In the morning, after a leisurely breakfast depart for Bharatpur, a birder’s paradise. En-route, visit Fatehpur Sikri an eerily abandoned capital from the Mughal Empire between 1570 and 1586. Afterwards continue to Bharatpur. Upon arrival; check in to your hotel.

Enjoy a visit to Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary by bicycle/ paddle rickshaws. Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary is one of the famous bird parks in the world.

Day 5: Welcome Jaipur

Breakfast: At hotel.

This morning drive to Jaipur, "the City of Victory." Upon arrival, check into the hotel.

In afternoon, enjoy an orientation tour of the city. First, have photo-stop at the Hawa Mahal often called the Palace of Winds and is a striking landmark. Next visit the Jantar Mantar Observatory, a UNESCO World heritage site. It’s a stone astrological and astronomical Observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh in the 18th century. Continue on to the City Palace Museum, home to a priceless collection of antiques, costumes and armory of the Mughals and Rajputs. The palace also consists of an art gallery that displays a collection of miniature paintings, carpets, royal paraphernalia and rare astronomical works in Arabic, Persian, Latin and Sanskrit.

Overnight in Jaipur

Day 6: Proceeding Jaipur

Breakfast: At hotel

This morning visit Amber Fort. Located approximately 11km outside Jaipur, this majestic monument was created using elements of both Hindu and Islamic architecture and design. Murals, frescos and paintings depict daily life of a bygone era on walls also etched with carvings and decorated with mosaics and mirror work. Afterwards pay a visit to the Galta Ji Temple a large Hindu temple complex that lies 10km to the east of Jaipur.

Optional tour: visit an elephant village in jaipur (day):

Visit an elephant village, home to approximately 100 Asiatic elephants. Here you will have the opportunity to interact with elephants, learn the ways to control an elephant, try your hand at painting like the elephants do and enjoy watching elephants’ bath before enjoying a ride on elephant back.

Day 7: Final Departure

Optional: Jaipur by cycle - pedal to heritage (morning):

This specially designed morning cycle tour of Old and New Jaipur aims at providing a ‘green way’ of exploring the waking up of the Pink City. We start early to avoid traffic at the iconic Statue Circle with a safety briefing and time to gear up for the ride. The tour heads northwards to M.I Road where we begin by tasting a famous Lassi (churned yogurt shake) to build our energy up for the tour. Afterwards we’ll enter the walled city cycling past its mansions; we will see the city waking up and the temple services starting. We will stop at the market to climb up to its roof for a bird’s eye view of the city afterwards we will ride along through twisting lanes to visit the chief deity of the city ‘Govind Dev Ji’ and attend a morning Aarti ceremony. The next stop will be the morning vegetable market before heading south to Albert Hall, which currently is a government museum. On the way we’ll make pit-stops to taste local snacks.

Late morning: Travel back overland to Delhi and connect to onward flight.

Note: If the tour package includes flights, trains, jungle safari, private monument, an extra supplement will be applicable to the child.

Payment Policy

We are offering you to pay a low down payment of just 10% to keep your place on the tour including hotel room, cruise cabin, domestic flight ticket, and other travel-related services. The remaining balance can be paid only two days prior to your arrival date or in cash upon arrival at the destination to your tour guide. This will give you the chance to book your tour with no risk or any loss.

Tour Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your booking at any time prior to commencement of the tour by notifying us in writing. The cancellation charges shall be as follows:

  • If you cancel before 45 days of tour commencement date, there will be no cancellation fees, except components which require per booking (train, flight and safaris).
  • If you cancel on or before 44-30 days of tour commencement date, 25% of the entire tour price will be charged.
  • If you cancel on or before 29-15 days of tour commencement date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged.
  • Less than 14 Days before arrival 100% cancellation will be applicable.
Changes By You

If you request any changes to your travel arrangements once we have confirmed a booking, all out of pocket charges, including charges imposed by our suppliers, will be payable by you. If after the commencement of your tour you request any changes to your travel arrangements, we will do our best to implement them, but we cannot guarantee that it will be possible. In the event of such change(s) being made, you will be liable for any cancellation charges that may be levied for the previously booked service and for any costs incurred by us and our suppliers in attempting to secure any revised arrangements. Any name changes must be provided to us in writing and are subject to any airline/ train fees or penalties.

Passports & Visa Fees

All Passengers are responsible for securing proper documentation prior to joining the tour. Passports are required; in addition, travelers are advised to check with local consulates for full details regarding Visa requirements. Please note securing a valid visa for entry is sole responsibility of the traveler.

Flexible cancellation policy

Memphis Tours offers a very flexible cancelation policy in case the government or the airline issues a travel warning from/to your departure country and destination. In the event that this happens, we will be refunding you the amount paid in full. Here at Memphis Tours we prioritize your well-being and safety above anything else and aim that our cancellation policy reflect that.
