Day 1: New Delhi - Welcome to India

Upon your arrival in Delhi, you will be Greeted and Escorted by our Memphis Tours Executive to your Hotel and then check in. Your India and Nepal Tour will start from India!

Day 2: Agra City Tour

After breakfast, you will be driven to Agra. It is a town famous for its beautiful medieval monuments. On arrival in Agra, you will be transferred to your hotel. Later, you will visit the world famous monument of India the Taj Mahal, a poem in white marble, built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaj Mahal. (Taj Mahal remains closed on Fridays.) After the visit, you will take a Tonga ride till Agra Fort. Tonga is a horse drawn carriage which was a popular mode of transport in the olden times. Agra Fort, situated on the west bank of the river Jamuna. Then, after enjoying your day, you will be back to your hotel.

Day 3: From Agra to Jaipur

After breakfast, you will be driven to Jaipur. After checking in, your day is at your leisure.

Day 4: Jaipur City Tour

After breakfast, enjoy the full day visit of Jaipur City. First, you will visit the Amber Fort which is one of the finest examples of Rajput architecture. It gives extensive views over a deep narrow valley and the wider plains beyond. Then you will visit Hawa Mahal: the palace of the wind (Hawa Mahal) with 953 windows and niches which were made so that ladies of the royal family could see the procession and events in the city without being visible to the people. In the evening enjoy Aarti Ceremony in Birla Mandir. “Aarti” is a very auspicious Hindu ritual in which they offer their prayers (traditional Hindi song) to God. The Guru or the Master with his devotees, sing the prayers along with the lighting of the small lamps. The experience, the view, and the positive vibrations are so inspirational that it is difficult to put into w After that, back to your hotel.

Day 5: Half Day Delhi City Tour

After breakfast, you will be driven to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, you will be transferred to your hotel. Later enjoy half day sightseeing of New Delhi. Begin With India Gate and Govt Buildings, Drive through Lutyens Delhi and see India Gate which commemorates the 70,000 Indian soldiers who died in the 1st world war. Then you will Photo stop at Rashtrapati Bhawan once the Viceroy's residence is now the official residence of the President of India. Later, you will Visit the Humayun's Tomb, built by his wife Haji Begum in the 16th Century. An early example of Mughal architecture considered the predecessor of the Taj Mahal. After enjoying your day, you will return back to your hotel.

Day 6: From Delhi to Kathmandu

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Delhi airport to board flight for Kathmandu. On arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel. Your India and Nepal Tour will move you to the Heaven on Earth, Nepal.

Day 7: Kathmandu City Tour

After breakfast, enjoy sightseeing of Kathmandu. You will begin with Patan City and visit Patan Durbar Square which is an enchanting mélange of Palace buildings, artistic courtyards and graceful pagoda temples. Listed as a World Heritage Site, the former Royal Palace complex is the centre of Patan's religious and social life and houses a museum containing an array of bronze statues and religious monuments. One remarkable monument here is the 17th-century temple dedicated to the Hindu god Krishna, built entirely of stone. Then, you will visit Tibetan Refugee Camp which was set up in 1960 under the initiative of the International Red Cross & the Swiss Development Corporation incorporation with HMG of Nepal. Its main objective is to help the Tibetan Refugees to do something nice & support themselves with some carpet industries & handicrafts have been operating.
After that, you will visit Swoyambhunath - The four seeing eyes of Swoyambhunath Stupa. This most glorious Stupa in the world is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Nepal and its establishment is linked to the creation of Kathmandu valley out of a primordial lake.
Then, you will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square which is a complex of palaces, courtyards, and temples, that is used to be the seat of ancient Malla Kings of Kathmandu. It is the place where kings of Nepal are crowned and their coronations solemnised. You will see Kumari temple which is the residence of the Living Goddess. Kumari, known as Virgin Goddess has got some specialities, she must be chosen from a typical Newari cast with nobody marks & injuries & will be replaced by another Kumari after puberty. You will see Kasthamandap that is believed to be constructed from the wood of a single tree in the sixteenth century situated near the Kumari Temple. The name Kathmandu was named after this temple. After enjoying your day, you will return to your hotel.

Day 8: Kathmandu City Tour

After your breakfast, enjoy city tour Kathmandu. You will visit Bhaktapur City Bhaktapur Durbar Square which is one of the most charming architectural showpieces of the Valley as it highlights the ancient arts of Nepal. The main items of interest in the Durbar Square are The Lion Gate, The Golden Gate, The Palace of Fifty-five Windows, The Art Gallery and The Statue of King Bhupatindra Malla. Then, you will visit Boudhanath which is among the largest stupas in South Asia, and it has become the focal point of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. After that, you will move to Pashupatinath which is the holiest Hindu pilgrimage destination in Nepal. You will see Guheswari Temple that represents the female "force". It is dedicated to Satidevi, Shiva's first wife, who gave up her life in the flames of her father's fire ritual. Some other places to visit are Rajrajeswari Temple, Gorakhnath temple, and the courtyard of Biswarup. There are rows of Shiva shrines and Hindu pilgrims from all over South Asia offering puja worship to Shiva, tile Lord of Destruction. After that, you will see The Bagmati River flows close by and the Arya Ghat cremation grounds. We strongly advise photographers not to take photos of cremations and of bereaved families. The main Pashupatinath courtyard may be entered by those of Hindu faith only. After enjoying your day, you will return to your hotel and overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 9: Kathmandu - Fly Back Home

Prices:

Tour price currency is set to USD but you can pay in Euro or British pound. The prices quoted per person per tour and prices are always updated to ensure you receive the best possible price. Prices valid all the year, except during Christmas 2018 and New Year 2019.

Payment Policy: 

Reservations should be made as early as possible to book your desired India tour, spaces will be secured upon receiving a deposit of 50 %. This deposit forms part of your final payment. Deposits can only be made by credit cards, wire transfer and or the Western Union, and the balance of payment to be paid one week before tour start date.

 

Note: Kindly note that in special cases wherein a hotel requires 100% payment in advance (during festive period i.e. Pushkar Fair, Christmas, New Year, etc.), will be payable along with 50% tour deposit. As per hotel policy, this amount will not be refundable.  

 

Tour Cancellation Policy:

You may cancel your booking at any time prior to the commencement of the tour by notifying us in writing. The cancellation charges shall be as follows:

 

- From the date of booking until 45 days before your arrival date, 15% of the entire tour price will be charged.

- If you cancel on or before 44-30 days of tour commencement date, 25% of the entire tour price will be charged.

- If you cancel on or before 29-15 days of tour commencement date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged. 

- Less than 14 Days before arrival 100% cancellation will be applicable. 


Changes By You: 

If you request any changes to your travel arrangements once we have confirmed a booking, all out of pocket charges, including charges imposed by our suppliers, will be payable by you. If after the commencement of your tour you request any changes to your travel arrangements, we will do our best to implement them, but we cannot guarantee that it will be possible.

 

In the event of such change(s) being made, you will be liable for any cancellation charges that may be levied for the previously booked service and for any costs incurred by us and our suppliers in attempting to secure any revised arrangements. Any name changes must be provided to us in writing and are subject to any airline/ train fees or penalties.

 

Passports & Visa Fees:

All Passengers are responsible for securing proper documentation prior to joining the tour. Passports are required; in addition, travellers are advised to check with local consulates for full details regarding Visa requirements. Please note securing a valid visa for entry is the sole responsibility of the traveler.
