And that’s all is only half of the trip. You will embark your Dahabiya in Luxor as it takes you to unique routes unlike any cruise till you arrive to Aswan. Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Arrival at Cairo Airport where you will meet and be assisted by our representative. Then, get transfered to your hotel and enjoy dinner.

Overnight at the hotel in Cairo.

Meals: Dinner.

Day 2: Visit Giza Pyramids & Sakkara  

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel in the morning before starting your pyramid tour where you will visit the Great Pyramids of Giza: Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, Valley Temple and the Sphinx. You will have lunch at a local restaurant. Not far away lies the Necropolis of Saqqara where the ruins of the Step Pyramid of King Zoser, the first Pyramid ever built, stands. Have a lovely dinner at a fine seafood restaurant on the Nile.

Overnight at your hotel in Cairo.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.

Visits: Great Pyramids of Giza, Valley Temple, Sphinx, Saqqara, Step Pyramid of King Zoser.

Day 3: Sightseeing in Cairo

You will explore Cairo, the city of a thousand minarets, by starting the tour with Al Darb Al Ahmar, the area south of Cairo's city walls; between Bab Zuweila and the Citadel, was initially the site of Fatimid and Ayyubid-era cemeteries. Under the prosperous reign of Sultan al-Nasir Muhammad (between 1293 and 1341), the population of the city reached its peak and the area began to be developed in earnest. After that you will visit Salah El Din Citadel, the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali, then proceed to Sultan Hassan Mosque and Madrasa which is considered Stylistically the most compact and unified of all Cairo monuments. Then, you will visit the Mosque of Ahmed Ibn Tulun; this mosque is considered to be the third large mosque built in Egypt. It is characterized by its spacious hall (saha), its unique spiral minaret and a large collection of gypsum decoration.

Visits: Cairo, Al Darb Al Ahmar neighborhood, Salah El Din Citadel, the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali, Sultan Hassan Mosque and Madrasa, Ahmed Ibn Tulun Mosque.

Day 4: Traveling to Fayoum & El Minya

You will have an early departure to be driven from Cairo to Fayoum, 60 km from Cairo. You will visit Lake Qaroun and then proceed to the National park of Wadi Rayan where we visit the Water Falls, Gabal Al Modawara and the Wales Cemetery. Enjoy a picnic Lunch. Later, you will head to El Minya and upon arrival, you will be transfered to Grand Aton El Minya hotel for check-in.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Visits: Fayoum, Lake Qaroun, National park of Wadi Rayan, Fayoum Water Falls, Gabal Al Modawara, Wales Cemetery, El Minya.

Day 5: Sightseeing in El Minya

You will visit the necropolis of Tuna El Gabal, which includes many important elements such as the crypts of baboons and Ibis that actually represent the god Thoth, the tomb of Isadora, the tomb of the priest Pet-osiers, the old water wheel and the boundary stele of the city of the Aton. Proceed to Al Ashmunien, the ancient city of Hermopolis, where you will visit the open museum with the two colossal baboon statues and the ruins of the basilica church with its Rose granite columns. Then, proceed to the site of Beni Hasan, eastern bank of the Nile. There you will visit the unique rock-cut tombs with its scenes depicting local and regional life during the Middle Kingdom. Many of these have scenes of wrestling and military training.

Visits: El Minya, The Necropolis of Tuna El Gabal, Al Ashmunien, Beni Hasan.

Day 6: Visit Amarna, Assuit & Abydous

After breakfast, you will be driven to Tell Al Amarna, the capital of Akhnaton, where you will explore the city, the northern and the southern tombs, the ruins of the palace and temples and finally the royal tomb. Then, you will go to Assuit city to visit Al Muharraq Monastery, 48 kilometers north of Assiut. The Holy Family stayed there for 6 months and 10 days, the longest period spent at any single site, and then you will head to Meir Village which was the functioning cemetery for Cusae, located in Egypt, approximately thirty to forty miles north of the city of Assuit. Meir functioned as an Old Kingdom-Middle Kingdom (6th-12th Dynasty) cemetery for the nomarchs of the fourteenth Nome of Upper Egypt. Below the hillside of the rock-cut tombs lies a cemetery that is specifically for the more common folk. The rock-cut tombs only functioned for nomarchs of the city of Cusae, which was a cult center for the Egyptian deity Hathor. Last, you will be driven to Abydos.

Visits: Tell Al Amarna, Assuit city, Al Muharraq Monastery, Meir Village.

Day 7: Abydos, Dandara & Luxor

You will visit Fortress Shonet El Zebeeb, the first building in the history, then you visit the temple of Seti the first. It is considered the most beautiful temple in Egypt. The temple was built by Seti I and was finished by his son Ramesses II after his father's death. It contains the best-coloured high Reliefs in Egypt and Abydos King List, showing the cartouche name of many dynastic pharaohs of Egypt from the first, Narmer or Menes, until Ramses himself. Then, after enjoy a lovely lunch, you will be driven to the complex of Dandara temple where you will visit Hatour Temple, the goddess of love, music and dancing. You will have the chance to explore the Temple Elements, the decorated ceiling with its beautiful colored astronomical drawings, the replica of the Egyptian Zodiac and the crypts. After your visit, you will travel to Luxor.

Overnight in Luxor.

Visits: Abydos, Fortress Shonet El Zebeeb, Temple of Seti the First, Complex of Dandara Temple, Hatour Temple, Temple Elements, Luxor.

Day 8: Embark in Luxor

- Transfer from your hotel in Luxor
- Visit Karnak Temple and the Valley of the Kings.

- Check-in at Luxor west bank before noon (12:00 noon).

- Sail to Esna and have lunch on board. We set sail and start a fantastic and unforgettable time on the river Nile crossing Esna Lock.

- Enjoy dinner

Overnight at El Hegz Island.
Meals:
Lunch and Dinner.
Visits: Karnak Temple, Valley of the Kings.

Day 9: Esna, El Kab Village, and Edfu

- Early morning enjoy our breakfast while sailing on the Nile River, and visit the city of El Kab, explore the unknown city, discover the ancient walls, the temple, and the rock-cut tombs from the new kingdom.

- Sailing to Edfu and enjoy lunch on board.

- Visit Edfu Temple, have a wonderful ride by horse carriage through the village to the fantastic Temple of Horus, one of the largest and best-preserved monuments of Egypt, two beautiful granite statues of the falcon god Horus flank the entrance, then we continue our sailing day and experience in slowly passing by the plain life of the farmers and fishermen, the picturesque and magic nature along the Nile River and the green fertile landscapes with sugar cane fields, banana, and date palm-trees.
- Shortly before sunset we drop anchor near Sheikh Rehan Island, where we enjoy dinner in an atmospheric surrounding.

Overnight near El Sheikh Rehan Island.

Visits: El Kab Village, Edfu Temple, Temple of Horus.

Day 10: Gabal El Silsela

- Early sailing to Gebel Silsela, enjoying breakfast on board.
- Continue our relaxing sailing day.
- After lunch, we go to shore to discover the old Pharaonic quarries of Silsela with the unknown rock-cut Temple of Hormoheb. From the top of the mountain, we enjoy a breathtaking view.
- Close to Kom Ombo, we stay at the edge of Al Bashir Island for BBQ dinner.

Overnight at the edge of Al Basher Island.
Meals:
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Visits: Gabal El Silsela, Temple of Hormoheb, Al Basher Island.

Day 11: Sail to Kom Ombo

- Sail to Kom Ombo, and after breakfast, visit Kom Ombo where we explore the exceptional beautiful temple of Haroeris (Horus the Elder) and Sobek (Crocodile God). The temple was built with two symmetric entrances, halls, and sanctuaries; it is the only double temple all over Egypt.
- Lunch on board and proceed to Aswan city.
- The rest of the day is dedicated to sailing till Aswan west bank.

Overnight on board.
Meals:
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
Visits: Kom Ombo, Temple of Haroeris and Sobek.

Day 12: Aswan Visits

- Breakfast on board.
- Then, visit Philae Temple.
- Continue sailing
- Dinner on board

Overnight at Herdiab Island

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
Visits: Aswan, Philae Temple.

Day 13: Kom Ombo

- Breakfast on board
- Lunch while sailing to Kom Ombo
- Visit Kom Ombo Temple
- Dinner on board

Overnight near Edfu.
Meals:
Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
Visits: Kom Ombo Temple.

Day 14: Sailing to Edfu

- Enjoy breakfast while sailing to Edfu
- Visit Edfu Temple
- Sailing to Esna and crossing Esna Lock while having lunch

Overnight on board in Luxor.

Day 15: Luxor - Final Departure

- Disembark and get transferred to Luxor Airport for your flight to Cairo where you will take your flight home.

  • Up to 2 years: FREE
  • Age from 2 and below 6 years: 25% of adult price

Booking Policy

We are offering a low down payment of just 10% to secure your spaces on the tour including hotel room, cruise cabin, domestic flight ticket, and other travel-related services. The remaining balance can be paid up to two days prior to your arrival date or in cash upon arrival at the destination to your tour manager, therefore, making your booking a risk-free investment.

Tipping

Tipping for a job well done is customary in Egypt, though not required. Please feel welcomed but not obliged to offer a tip to your guide.

Cancellation Policy
  • In case you cancel your trip, the following scale of charges will be applied:

From the date of booking until 61 days before your arrival date, 10% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Between 60 and 31 days before your arrival date, 20% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Between 30 and 15 days before your arrival date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Between 14 and 1 days before your arrival date, 100% of the entire tour price will be charged.
 
Additionally, there are cancellation fees on all domestic flights within Egypt. If you cancel a tour at any time, you will be subject to any fees according to the airline’s cancellation policy.
