Day 1: Aswan Nile Cruise Excursions
Memphis Tours representative will meet and greet you at Aswan airport or train station and then you will be transferred by a private A/C vehicle to your Nile Cruise ship for embarkation in Aswan before Lunch. You will be accompanied by your knowledgeable Egyptologist guide for an amazing tour to visit the Unfinished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae. Enjoy dinner.

We are a group of friends who went on a Nile cruise aboard the MS Salacia arranged by Memphis Tours. We had a fabulous time on the cruise made possible by their attentive staff. Special mention must be made to the staff manning the dining lounge, the food was excellent and ample, and service was impeccable. Kudos to the chef and his staff.
Overall an excellent experience. The staff was super attentive and helpful, the common areas of the ship were nice, food was plentiful and varied. As a solo traveller I had a smaller room which was sufficient though the bathroom was showing its age.
The WiFi was often overloaded making even simple tasks (like reading e-mail) difficult if not impossible at times. Off peak hours it was sufficient for basic needs but don't expect to be conducting video calls or uploading videos.
The land tours as part of the cruise were well organized and fun, optional activities (additional fee) such as visiting Abu Simble and a ballon ride were available (I did both and found them worthwhile).
George Atef served as our guide for 4 days on a Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor. We enjoyed his extensive knowledge--very professorial and interesting! --as well as his calm and helpful personality during the many hours we spent with him.
The cruise was amazing. The tour was amazing. Egypt was amazing.
