Lake Nasser
As a result of the High Dam Construction in Nasser's reign, Lake Nasser was born. Lake Nasser had been created to be the largest artificial lake in the world. It is about 565 km long, containing around 170,000 km³ of water.
Lake Nasser Archaeological Sites
Lake Nasser owns an area of a very important archaeological spots. On the shore Lake Nasser , the great temple of Abu Simbel is located. Abu Simbel Temples are considered to be the most impressive temples from Ramsses II Temples. In addition, it has Temple of Amada and Kasr Ibrim Fortress.
Lake Nasser Cruise
Lake Nasser cruises are used to make journeys from Aswan to Abu Simbel and vice versa taking about 4 nights. On the deck of the Lake Nasser passengers can see the nature in its virgin beauty. In addition, they can visit the archaeological sites that can not be visited except with the Lake Cruise, such as, the area of the Nubian Monuments.
