King Teti was the founder of the 6th dynasty .

History:

No much information is known about king Teti, but it was mentioned that he was killed by his guards and buried in his pyramid in Saqqara .From the information we have, it can be said that Teti was careful to retain the same relations with Byblos, Nubia and Punt.According to Manetho , his reign lasted for 32 years, which is too long. The Turin Canon gives him a reign of less than a year, which is unlikely. He has left records about his sixth cattle count, that took place every 2 years, so 12 years can be likely the duration of his reign.

The pyramid of king Teti is situated at the Saqqara at the north east of the step pyramid of king Zoser .
