Explanation:
This pyramid was built under the supervision of Himinu, the overseer of all king's work. Herodotus estimated that 100.000 men were required to build the pyramid. He also mentioned that the pyramid took 27 years to be completed. It was built on a square plane.
Its original height is 146m, but its height now is 137m. It was discovered that 2.300.000 blocks of stones were used for building this pyramids. There are four sides of the pyramid which accurately oriented to the cardinal points of the compass.
Each side once measured 230 m., but due to the loss of casing of the blocks, they are now 227 m. The angle of each side was 51°. The entrance of this pyramid is situated in the northern side, at a high of 16.5m. above the ground, which is now locked.
