Mohamed Mahmoud Khalil and his wife museum is one of the most important artistic museums in Egypt . The museum plays important role in the cultural and artistic movement. Also the museum contains the best acquisitions , paintings , sculptures and laques of the greatest artists.
Location
The museum of Mohamed Mahmoud Khalil and his wife is found in Giza. Its Palace was built in 1915, on the French Ardico style or architecture. The eastern side of the palace , overlooking the Nile , carries some features of the Arnoveau Style that appeared in France in 1875. This is seen through the metal and glass skeleton above the entrance of the palace .
The palace is divided to three floors, the ground, first and second floors that are used as the museum?s gallery; the administrative offices, the Library, the Information Centre and a big lecture theatre

The palace was the residence of Mohammed Khalil and his wife and its fame backs to his invaluable art collection until 1960.
-The museum includes masterpieces of the great artists of the 19th century who extensively influenced in fine art movements in Europe generally and in France particularly such as Paul Gauguin, Auguste Renoir, Vincent van Gogh, Claude Monet, John Jongkind and Charles Francois Daubigny.
- Also the museum shows priceless collections of vases made in France, Japan, Iran and China, and a big collections of elaborately-made miniature works of art by Chinese artists in precious stones, crystal de Roche, emerald and coral.
-In addition to it includes large-size bronze, marble and gypsum statues by great sculptors of the 19th century: Auguste Rodin, Jean-Baptiste Carpeaux, Louis Antoine Barye and Charles Cordier.
