The Athenians (Ancient Greeks) were extremely unique, they believed that they should be free people as long as they are subject to the law of Greece, and that was the way to excellence that they achieved in any direction they chose, and that way to excellence was the method of all their achievements, these achievements which stems from their believes in the balance between body and mind, also some of them strove to become Soldiers and Athletes, but some of them strove to Drama, Philosophy, Poetry and Arts, specially, the intellectual center of Greece, Athens.

Athens is one of the most renowned and famous cities in the world, It was one of the first city ? states, After It was named Athena, the Goddess of wisdom and the city's Patron in 508 BC, Athens also was one of the first countries that believed in Democracy, the word Democracy came from the Greek words (Demos) which means people, and (kratein) which means to rule, there where the Athens people were meeting with Government monthly to discuss the State's Conditions and Affairs, at the place called the Assembly

As for the Religious life of Greeks, they had the Acropolis. The Religious shrine and high Fortress for the Athenians, and which was built on a layer of limestone rock overlooking the city, they also had Buildings and Temples, the most famous of them is the Parthenon.
