
Dynasty: Darius II was the fifth king of the 27th Dynasty. He was the son of Artaxerxes I by Babylonian concubine History: Darius II seized the throne from his half brother Secydianus (or Sogdianus), whom he then executed. There were also many foreigners in Egypt during this time, mostly Greeks and Jews. He died in the spring of 404 BC.
