Cairo Opera Company presented its first show, in participation with Cairo Symphony Orchestra , Cairo Opera Choir , Cairo Opera Ballet Company , Gluck?s Orfeg in 1968, starring: Ratiba El Hefny, conductor Ahmed Ebeid, Violeffe Makar, Amira Kamel, Ghalia Rashed, Awatef El Sharkawy., Rejina Youssef and Nabila Erlan, and director Viffono Feorefto.

Also some local performers such as Hassan Kamy, Gaber El Beltagui, Sobhi Bedair, Redo El Wakil, Yousef Sabagh, Redo El Shenawy, Clude Rathle presented international operas.
