The son of Sheshonq, Nemrod, didn't live enough to have many achievements but his son Sheshonq II was like his grandfather Sheshonq I he was ambition and spread his influence up to the Delta. This is what made Manetho decide that the centre of this family was Bubastis. History: King Sheshonq I didn't found difficulty in getting the throne. A conflict happened between the priests of Amon and at that time Sheshonq tried to restore the power and influence of the royal house. Osorkon ruled after Sheshonq I then Teklot II, Sheshonq III.
