The founder & the royal family:

King Seth Nakhet was the founder of the 20th dynasty. He didn't last more than 3 years and then left everything to be made by his son Rameses III .

History:

Seth Nakhet the first king in the 20th dynasty was one of the old members in the Royal family who wanted to maintain order in the country but the situation in the counter was worse than he imagined so he left all the matters to be completed by his son Rameses III .

Ramesses I followed his father and ruled for about 23 years and made huge effort in controlling the country. The situation was not stable in Asiaand the Indo-European especially after the death of king Merenptah , of the 19th dynasty. In order to control the political situation, king Rameses III led several wars against the Libyans and Indo-European which were recorded on the walls of Madinet Habu Temple. By defeating the sea people, king Rameses could save Egypt from their danger as they have been separated and live peacefully in the Mediterranean area.

Rameses III was succeeded by some pharaohs who ruled for about 80 years , the most important among them Rameses V, Rameses IV , Rameses VIII and kind Rameses IX who ruled for about 18 years and was succeeded by XI who in his 19th year of reign started the renaissance period which was inspired by the priests as Hrihor the high priest ascend the throne and started the 21st dynasty.
