A unique selection of the major historical sights of Jordan including Amman, Jerash, Madaba, Dead Sea, Petra and the adventurous Hiking Wadi Rum in the Desert. We will also explore Turkey and see Istanbul and the rock valley of Cappadocia with it's beauty.
Day 1: Arrival Istanbul
Your English-speaking driver will meet and assist you at Istanbul Airport and then escort you to your hotel. Check in to your room and enjoy the afternoon free to explore Istanbul. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 2: Full Day Istanbul Tour
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up to enjoy the exotic city that spans both Europe and Asia. Visit the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Palace and the Hippodrome. Free time in Grand bazaar with it’s 3,500 shops to end the day and then back to your hotel and overnight in Istanbul.
Day 3: Istanbul - Cappadocia Tour
After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to Istanbul airport for flight to Cappadocia in the morning. After 1 hour flight arrive in Kayseri. Meet your guide and transfer to your hotel. After check-in at the hotel, you will start a private Cappadocia tour at 12:00, visiting the Goreme Open Air Museum, the Underground Cities, ‘fairy chimneys’ and much more. Back to your hotel and overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 4: Cappadocia Tour – Izmir
After breakfast at your hotel, start our second day in Cappadocia. First you will visit Zelve and then take a walk in Ihlara Canyon Valley up to Belisirma village, the ancient Peristrema. You will visit the Rock-cut churches and witness the early Christian art and images from the Bible painted on their walls. Climb to the top of the Uchisar Castle to have a panoramic view of the valleys of Cappadocia. Afterward you will transfer to the airport for a flight to Izmir. Check into your hotel and stay overnight in Izmir.
Day 5: Ephesus Tour – Istanbul
After breakfast, depart for visit the Artemis Temple, which was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Continue to Ephesus, an important center of early Christianity and the site of many impressive ruins. Lunch will be served in the garden of a local handicrafts center where you will see a demonstration of traditional carpet weaving techniques and enjoy viewing some of the beautiful carpets. After lunch you will visit House of the Virgin Mary, located on the Aladag Mountains 5 miles from Ephesus. Mary came to Ephesus with St. John after the death of Jesus Christ and lived there until her death. Drive to Izmir airport for your flight back to Istanbul at 18.30. After 1 hour flight arrival in Istanbul at 19.30. Transfer to the hotel for overnight in Istanbul.

Day 6: Arrival Amman
After breakfast, transfer to Istanbul Ataturk Airport to depart for Amman. Upon your arrival at Amman International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Amman in a private, air-conditioned vehicle. Your guide will check you into the hotel and give you detailed information about the rest of your trip. Overnight in Amman.
Day 7:Jerash/ Dead Sea
After breakfast, you will drive north to Jerash, the best example of a Roman provincial city in the whole Middle East. Visit Oval Plaza, Roman colonnaded street, the Nymphaeum and the Temple of Artemis. After that you will head towards the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea, where you will be able to enjoy the health benefits of its mineral mud and float on its salty waters. Day 8: Madaba/ Nebo/ Kerak
After breakfast, we will visit Madaba, where you will see the famous 4th century Byzantine mosaic map of Israel inside the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George. Then move to Mt. Nebo, which is thought to be the place where Moses had gazed at the Promised Land and is believed to be his burial ground. You will visit an old monastery that overlooks the Jordan Valley and the Holy Land. Then you will proceed towards Kerak to see the famous Crusader castle built by King Baldwin I of Jerusalem.Finally, you will head to Petra to stay overnight.
Day 9 : Petra Tour
After breakfast, we will tour Petra, the most famous attraction in Jordan. Petra was first established in around 6th century B.C by the Nabateans, a nomadic tribe who settled in the area and laid the foundations of a commercial empire that extended up into Syria and down to Egypt. Upon arrival you will begin the trip on horseback through the canyon-entrance to the city and then by foot to the most beautiful monument: the Treasury. You will also be able to visit the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh’s Castle. After the tour we will drive you back to your hotel in Petra.
Day 10: Wadi Rum Tour
After breakfast, we will drive 1.5 hours towards the protected area of Wadi Rum, one of the most impressive desert landscapes in the world. In a 4x4 Jeep, you will be able to explore the sand dunes and visit the site of the Nabatean rock inscriptions. After the tour we will drive back to Amman to check into a hotel for the night.
Day 11 : Final Departure
After breakfast and check out at 12:00 noon and depending on the time of your flight, you will be transferred to Amman’s Queen Alia International Airport for your departure.
