Take this 8 day tour to visit the Seven Churches of Revelations in Turkey. Follow in the footsteps of history and journey to the places within Turkey that were mentioned or associated with events recorded in the Bible.
Day 1: Arrival Istanbul
Your guide will meet and assist you at Istanbul Airport. Then they will escort you to the hotel. Check into your room and enjoy a afternoon of leisure to relax or to explore Istanbul. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 2: Istanbul Old City
Day 3: Smyrna-Pergamum
After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to Istanbul airport for a flight to Izmir. Arrive in Izmir and drive to ancient Smyrna, one of the seven Christian churches in Asia Minor. In the afternoon proceed to Thyatira, another one of the Seven Churches. See the remains of a basilica and other ruins from the Roman Period. Drive to Pergamum to stay overnight.
Day 4: Pergamum
Day 5: Sardis - Philadelphia - Pamukkale
After breakfast at your hotel, depart to Sardes, one of the Seven Churches mentioned by St. John. Continue to Philadelphia, another one of the Christian congregations and a city built in 2 BC by King Eumenos. Continue to Pamukkale (Hierapolis). Watch the sunset over the calcified white terraces of Pamukkale. Overnight in Pamukkale.
Day 6: Leodicea - Ephesus
After breakfast, Visit Hierapolis and then Laodicea before continuing to Ephesus. See the final abode of the Virgin Mary where she spent her last years. Tour through Ephesus to see the old synagogue, the theatre where St. Paul preached (mentioned in Acts 10), the Library of Celsius and other sights. Check into your hotel and overnight in Kusadasi.
Day 7: Fly to Istanbul
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Istanbul. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Free time in Grand Bazaar in the afternoon. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 8: Final Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Istanbul Ataturk Airport for final departure.
