Memphis Tours representative will meet & greet you at Port Said. Enjoy a shore excursion & day trip from Port Said to Cairo, approximately 2 ½ hours by a luxurious air-conditioned vehicle. We will arrive at the Western Plateau of Giza, where Egypt 's Great Pyramid is located. Enjoy a panoramic view of the Pyramids before your vehicle parking near the great Pyramid of Cheops. Get excited by a camel caravan ride in the desert. Continue your excursion down the Valley Temple to visit the guardian of this mortuary complex, the mighty Sphinx.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch, join your waiting vehicle and continue to Sakkara, Egypt's oldest ancient cemetery where you can see the world's first monumental stone building, the Step Pyramid of King Zoser, built by the engineer Imhotep. In your day trip you will also visit one of the magnificent Mastabas (burial chamber) of either Ptah Hotep, Idut or Mereruca.
Before beginning your return trip to Port Said a short stop will be made at a Papyrus Institute where you will have the opportunity to shop for souvenirs.
