Morning pick-up from your hotel in Cairo, via air-conditioned vehicle, to drive on the way to El Fayoum until you reach Wadi Al Rayan. It is located on the middle of the Fayoum desert, about 140 Km from Cairo. It is now totally covered by two gigantic fresh water lakes, the two lakes have different altitudes, and therefore a waterfall was created where they meet.
Start walking and follow the green area of Wadi Al Rayan lake through unique desert scenery of white sand dunes. You will walk for six or seven hours. Then move to Monastery of St. Ibram, 35 Km south of Wadi El Rayan. Enjoy your lunch and at last return to Cairo.
