Morocco Atlas Mountains Tour On this 8 day journey our guides will take you on a 4x4 adventure over the Atlas mountains and back. You will have time to explore Marrakech and to visit some of the most beautiful natural areas of Morocco, including the Cascades of Ouzoud and the Merzouga dunes. This trip has a bit of everything: the excitement of Marrakech, the beauty green mountains of the High and Middle Atlas and the stunning expanses of the Sahara Desert.

Day 1: Arrival Marrakech

A driver will meet you at Marrakech Menara airport and escort you to your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle. Check in at your room and relax. Enjoy dinner and overnight in Marrakech.

Day 2: Marrakech - Ouzoud - Bin El Ouidane

After breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up an English-speaking driver with a 4x4 towards The Ouzoud waterfalls, the most famous ones in Morocco, the area is quite impressive with a total 100 meters fall. Lunch (optional) on the spot. Afternoon departure to reach the famous lake of Bin El Ouidane, you will drive through magnificent mountain roads surrounded by holm oaks going along the oueds (rivers) around. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3 : Bin El Ouidane – Kelaa Mgouna - Boumalne Dades

After breakfast, we will cross the Middle Atlas to reach a splendid small town of Kelâa MGouna, an oasis in the Dades valley well known for its yearly festival of Roses in May from where the alternative name of the area comes from “the Valley of the Roses”. Continuation to Boumalne Dades and lunch (optional) at a local restaurant. Afternoon visit of the Dades canyons. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4 : Boumalne Dades -Tinghir - Tinjdad - Erfoud

You will be picked up after breakfast to go via Tinghir for its magnificent Todra canyons. Stop for the visit of the canyons and lunch (optional) at a local restaurant in Tinghir. Afternoon, departure via Tinjdad to Erfoud, the administrative capital for the region located between the Middle Atlas Mountains to the north and the Sahara desert to the south. Visit of Rissani, the birthplace of the actual Alaouite Dynasty. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
(Optional) Excursion by Jeep to Merzouga sandy dunes to admire the fabulous sunset. Back at the end of the afternoon at your hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Erfoud - Tazzarine - Nkob - Zagora

Breakfast at the hotel, then you will be picked up to travel to Zagora via Alnif and Tazzarine, crossing the Djebel Sargho. Lunch (optional) at N’Kob. After you arrive in  Zagora, enjoy a short visit to the village of Tamegroute and its famous library containing old books and documents dating back to the 12th century. Check in your hotel and have dinner and overnight in Zagora.

Day 6: Zagora - Marrakech

After breakfast, you will be picked up to drive to Marrakech via Ouarzazate, known as the "gateway of the desert". You will go on a tour of Ouarzazate, including the Kasbah Taourirt and Kasbah Ait Benhaddou at the foot of the Atlas Mountains. Founded in the 11th century, Ait Benhaddou is on the UNESCO list of World Cultural Heritage. Lunch (optional) will be available. Departure to Marrakech and check in your hotel to have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 7: Marrakech Tour

After breakfast, you will enjoy an entire day touring Marrakech. The sightseeing includes Menara Garden, the Saadien Tombs, Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia and the Dar Si Said Museum. Return to your hotel to have lunch and then in the afternoon go shopping in the souks and handicraft quarters. Finish the day at Djemaa El Fina, famous as a place of non-stop entertainment for centuries. Return to the hotel in the evening.
Optional : Traditional dinner under caidal tents at the famous “Chez Ali” restaurant with folkloric performances from the different regions of Morocco.

Day 8: Final Departure From Marrakech

Eat breakfast and then transfer to Marrakech Airport by for final departure.

    Prices are quoted in US Dollars per person per trip and valid till September 30.2016, except during Christmas and New Year holidays in Morocco. The price of Solo is valid for solo traveler who is travelling alone.

  • Payment Policy:

    Reservations should be made as early as possible to book your desired Morocco tour, spaces will be secured upon receive a deposit of 25 %, and during the Christmas and New Year holidays and tour packages the required deposit is 50%. This deposit forms part of your final payment. Deposits can only be made by credit cards, wire transfer and or Western Union

  • Morocco Entry Visa:

    You need to have a valid passport at least 6 months beyond your scheduled return date to enter Morocco and you can obtain a visa from Morocco Consulate before departure. Also, entry visa is available upon arrival Morocco airports against USD 27 per passport for specific nationalities and need to check before. Some nationalities don’t need a visa to visit Morocco for the purpose of tourism for up to 3 months such as United States of America, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Denmark, Netherlands, New Zealand, Switzerland. For more info and details on entry visa to Morocco please check with the Moroccan consulate or embassy at your country.
