-We were lucky enough to get an amazing Egyptologist in Cairo, Ayman Elshafie, who was incredibly knowledgeable, genuinely nice, and keen on making sure our needs were met at all times. He has a PhD in Egyptology, and could not have been a better person to guide us through the Egyptian antiquities museum. He knew the history about every single treasure found in King Tut's tomb. He was also brilliant to tour the Citadel, Hanging Church and Synagogue
-Our Egyptologists – Ayman Elshafie (in Cairo and Alexandria), and Ashraf (in Aswan/Cruise/Luxor). Both were extremely knowledgeable and professional. Ayman especially was wonderful as he carried around a special folder full of photographs which allowed him to explain in a lot more detail than many other guides would be able to. This made our time with him interesting and also educational (which is important when visiting a country that is so rich in history)
- Ayman Elshafie, Egyptologist and Guide - great laugh and made our trips to El Alamein, Alexandria, Pyramids and the Eqyptian Museum most enjoyable, fascinating and good fun - especially the 'power station' theory for the pyramids!
