we recently visited Alexandria on the cruise ship Celebrity Equinox, we did not use the day excursion to Cairo offered by the ship, we chose to prebook a private tour for our party of 16 with Memphis Tours, we selected the sites we wanted to see in the available time and did not want to waste time eating or going to the Papyrus Institute or perfume shops. Our guide Nasreene was absolutely fantastic, her historical knowledge, her engagement with us, her passion for Egypt really turned a great tour into a fantastic one. Other people on the ship that shared ship arranged tours with 60 other passengers did not get the personalised service and attention that we received. This is the second time (first time 2007) that I have used Memphis tours and I have no hesitation recommending Memphis tours for any tour you may want to take i Egypt
