We took the 3 days tour of Cairo adn Alexandria. Our guide was Rehab - we were very impressed with her - very informative, friendly and jovial. The driver Mustaffa was also nice. and Mimmo too. the sights were awesome - the Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx in particular. Alexandria was a rush job, not sure I would make the long journey again just for a few hours sightsee-ing. The river Nile dinner cruise was good too- very entertaining. We stayed at teh OAsis Hotel- away from downtown- lovely grounds, and quiet but the drawback was the distance and hence cost of taxis. One thing I hated about Egypt was the "ready-to-fleece you" attitude of the cab-drivers/ doormen even in the good hotels. All in all- a good trip.
