We were two couples planning our first trip to Egypt. Since we don't particularly enjoy group travel, we had made reservations independently for hotels in Cairo, a Nile Cruise on Oberoi Philae and the internal flights to and from Luxor, Aswan and Abu Simbel. We noticed that our same cruise was being offered by Memphis Tours Egypt at a discount of approximately 1000 Euros per stateroom over the price directly from Oberoi. We cancelled with Oberoi and rebooked with Memphis. At the same time we arranged for transfers to and from the Cairo airport and for an all day private tour guide and driver in Cairo. From the day we landed at Cairo International we could not have been more pleased with our experience with Memphis. They were always where they were supposed to be and usually early. The transportation was first rate with a driver and a representative. They were especially helpful dealing with Egyptair. I admit that I had a great deal of apprehension, bordering on anxiety, when we chose to trust some of the major portions of our trip to Memphis - but in retrospect it was probably one of the smartest things we did. I can't recommend them more. Egypt was an amazing experience, and all the more so because of the really professional folks at Memphis Tours Egypt.
