Hello Ahmed Firstly, I apologise for not writing to you earlier. There is no real excuse, but we were away for a couple more weeks after our visit to Alexandria and I came home to find a lot of outstanding things to deal with. Somehow the email we promised you was overlooked. Our tour to the pyramids with Maha was fantastic. The weather on the day was a problem with thick fog and we were told by the ship's crew that trips ashore were all held up and could even be cancelled. After a while the weather did improve but instead of meeting Memphis at 7.30 am as arranged we did not get onto the dock until after 9.00. You may recall that I was concerned about meeting your team before we booked and this delay made us think that we would miss the trip. We need not have worried as Maha was there to meet us, just as you said, by the dock gate. She told us that they had started to return to Cairo when the fog looked really bad, but turned around and came back for us when it lifted. Once we were underway, everything went very smoothly. The driver made us feel comfortable and Maha kept us informed at all times. She is so knowledgeable and every question we had was answered fully. We did not know what to expect in Cairo as this was our first visit but we learnt so much. The pyramids were much more impressive than I expected and the treasures in the Museum almost unbelievable. Because of the late start and our need to get back to the ship by 7.30 pm, we had to hurry a little. Maha was able to trim the times at each destination so that we were not too late back and even apologised for asking us to hurry, although we never felt rushed. Lunch was excellent and very enjoyable. All in all, I would recommend Memphis Tours to everyone. I would definitely ask for Maha as our guide next time if that was possible. We all felt very pleased with the tour and that it was excellent value for money. Thank you for arranging it for us, Regards, Roger
