Just got back from a week long tour in Egypt and it couldn't have been more perfect because of the level of service and knowledgable guides that we were provided throughout our trip thanks to Memphis Tours. I would recommend this company to anybody.

Our Itinerary was as follows:

Arrived in Cairo on Friday Afternoon, spent Friday through Sunday night in Cairo then flew to Aswan. Monday early AM private trip to Abu Simbel then back to Aswan to start a 4 day cruise up the nile to Aswan. Upon arrival in Luxor we flew back to Cairo for our trip home. Our guide was on the cruise with us and when people would offload we had a private car waiting for us at each destination to take us to the sites.

I had some minor worries before the trip but they were all gone from the moment we arrived. At each destination we were met by a private driver with a rep from the company who then passed us on to the guides. The entire trip was 5 star all the way, as soon as we were done touring a site the driver would be right there waiting for us to wisk us off to the next destination. Our guides would negotiate with locals to help us purchase drinks and snacks, camel rides, felucca rides etc.

We realized that if we had done this trip without a tour company we would have encountered so many obstacles that we would have never anticipated. Memphis tours provided us with mineral water whenever we needed it and one of the nicest things was that they gave us a phone that contained about 1 hour of time for local calls. This made it wasy to contact the rep or coordinate with them at any point during our trip.

The people who we dealt with were all professional, humorous, easy to get a long with and knowledgable. They were ontime for every scheduled meeting time we had. They suggested we do a balloon ride and got us a price that was 50% off what we had seen when we were planning our trip in the states.

I would highly recommend Mustafa and Sayed for the younger crowd, as they were about our age, very funny, and very professional. We met some other people on our boat who had private guides as well and it was obvious we had the best of the bunch.

As I stated before everything with Memphis Tours was perfect. While they were not the cheapest company that we shopped our itinerary to, there is no doubt in my mind we made the correct decision and no other company could have provided us with the service we received.
