Dear Rehab,
We are back home now and have settled into our regular routines working and going to school. We have finally overcome our jetlag and have returned to "normal".
I wanted to touch base with you one more time to thank you again for the wonderful experience that you gave us on our visit to Egypt. The depth of your knowledge enhanced our learning experience but your cheerful personality and willingness to adapt to our requests made you the perfect Egyptian guide. The girls and I were fascinated with your very honest descriptions of Muslim culture and your explanation of the basics of the Muslim religion. All of us were amazed by the fact that you seemed to have the answers to every question that we had, regardless of the area, period in history, or subject. And, on top of being able to see the monumental structures in and around Cairo, how cool was it to run into Zahi Hawass in the Cairo Museum?!
Unbelievable!...Without you, I know that our trip would not have been nearly as fun or as interesting.
We absolutely loved your country...It is a mystical place that everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime. We could tell that you were proud to show it off to us and we would be honored to do the same for you one day if you ever want to make a trip to the U.S.. We live in a part of the country that is the complete opposite of Cairo. Our landscape has green hills, trees, and mountains. There is an abundance of rivers, lakes and streams. Our "downtown" area is fairly small and our house is outside of the city in the woods. Unfortunately, we don't have incredible ancient structures to show off but we have lots of other things to see and do!
Thank you again for making our trip to Egypt the "trip of a lifetime".

Thank you for a wonderful tour of Egypt! You have been the perfect guide. You are so knowledgeable about all of the sites and all of the history, our first day with you we knew that you were perfect for us.
The tour of the pyramids at Giza was really impressive and your recommendations of things to see and do were the best. We loved the camel ride and you gave us the perfect amount of free time. The then part of the day at Memphis and Saqqara was so informative, we learned so much from you. We were lucky to have you to tell us all of the history and to tell us what things we didn't need to bother with!
Today our tour of the museum and churches/mosques was equally as good. We were happy to see your smiling face again this morning and we had looked forward to your being the one to give us the tour of the museum. We knew we would get a morning of information a as good as watching the discovery channel!
You are so knowledgeable; you could answer all of our questions and have such a good way of making everything interesting. You are honest with your answers and you take much time to make sure that we all understand. You were pleased to tell us all about your culture and your country. By the time we are leaving today we feel like you are our good friend. We would love for you to come to Chattanooga, Tennessee to visit us in our home anytime!
Rehab, we could not have asked for a better guide. You have helped to make our trip to Cairo fabulous. You are the perfect happy personality to be a tour leader and will recommend you to all of our friends!
